nope.. I got this...
"Dear customer,
thanks a lot for your order and the pre-payment.
We would like to inform you that we will start with the first shipments of the upgrade kits as soon as possible.
Therefore we would like to ask you for some more patience.
Please give up your additional inquiries about the estimated shipping date as we are already overloaded with e-mails.
We will inform you in time about the dispatch.
Thanks for your assistance and understanding in advance."
Now the sarcastic side of me.. reads this as:
Thanks for your cash.. we still don't know when we will be able to deliver what you ordered but we will deliver it at some point. don't bother asking us for any more information regarding when we think it will ship (cause were as in the dark as you!) just wait untill you get your dispatched email..
thanks sucker...
the other side of me says.. perhaps I'm reading to much into this email, what with English not being there first language and all that, perhaps something got lost in the translation..
Thomas, if your reading this I love your products dearly mate, I love your ability to upgrade the products introducing new features and implementing bug fixes.. it's unique in the Industry from what I can see at this price point.
however I'm not sure that this email tells me anything.. so what's the point of the email message, in effect all you've done is acknowledge my order weeks after I placed it, and months after I emailed my intention to place the order.
I understand that you've posted updates on your blog, but if I didn't know about that.. I'd be wondering what was happening and bombarding you with emails as indicated in your company's email to me..!
perhaps when folks order, more information should be emailed regarding progress or delays to those who've placed orders rather than relying on the blog to communicate delays.
this is frustrating in the extreme.
