Have you had problems with your Fanatec Wheel

Hi guys, so I've been using my wheel for about 6 months and often run FFB on pretty high with no problems.

I have removed the orange cover/case for optimal cooling as I have read fanatec wheels overheat easily. Today I was running some laps at nurburgring in the GT300 BRZ with FFB maxed out and suddenly the force feedback got really weak (felt like it was on 50%) and it became notchy and no longer as smooth.

I let it cool down for 30 minutes, turned off, while running a fan on it. Turned it back on and still the same problem

Can anyone help?

Do you guys know the failure rates on this wheel? i'm trying to decide what wheel to get between the g27 and this wheel with csr elite pedals and the csr shifters.
 
I get the impression that the GT3 is possibly more fragile, but I've had no issues with mine, and it's over three years old.
