Hey guys, I have a problem with my Fanatec Clubsport V3 Pedals at the moment:

If I transition from the throttle to the brakes, the throttle will stay jammed on for a second or two after I lift off (and no brake pedal will be applied) and then after that second, the brakes will be applied. This also can happen to the brakes as well, when I lift off the brakes, the brake pedal will still be applied in-sim (iRacing for me) for a good second or two before transitioning to the throttle.

What can I do?

Have you updated to the latest firmware? That would likely be a good place to start.

Also, in game calibration, as available. As well as calibration in the wheel setting screen on the PC.

Is it happening all the time, or intermittently? Are you connecting direct to PC with the pedals, or are you plugging them into the wheel port?

From time to time, with PS3, I have to simply unplug my pedals and plug them back in, in game, to get everything working right. That's with Clubsport wheel and my last pedal set, which were CSR elite. I just upgraded to V3 inverted recently.

I've experienced maybe two times with the CSR-E sudden loss of input for a moment, maybe 50 frames or so. I think it was the right pedal only (that is, brakes perhaps implied).

I did update to the latest firmware. I did manage to get some calibration after a lot of messing about with stuff (such as USB ports and stuff).

This happens sometimes, and sometimes it runs smoothly. For the past two days, this has happened at least once per 10 or so laps at Sebring on iRacing. I've been plugging into a USB hub and then directly into the PC. I did try restarting my computer, unplugging my pedals and plugging them back in again, but still nothing has seemed to solve the problem.

Maybe try bypassing that hub if you are able to, just to troubleshoot that out of the equation. You might also try a direct to wheel hookup, although I know that has some drawbacks on PC.

I am just throwing ideas out there. :)

Already tried that, and I then don't get the in-game calibration thing where I can set my maximum and minimum pedal inputs.

Tried that, and it made my brake pedal extremely hypersensitive.

Try contacting Fanatec or posting your problem on their forums?

Not trying to be condescending with basic troubleshooting ideas. Just some people don't think that way. :)

Well, it is good news!

I had bolts drilled through the rubber and they were metal, which messed up the insulation that the rubber provided and it interfered with the electrical field that they produced. Replacing them with plastic bolts seemed to fix the problem.

For now, the problem is fixed! Yay!

EDIT: The problem has NOT been fixed. I've just had about 10 stuck pedal moments and have just been DQ'd from an IMSA Sportscar race. The weird thing is that in practice, nothing actually went wrong. However, in the race...
