Fanatec Pedals Question for GT2

Hey fellas,

My GT2 just arrived, and man oh man is it a BEAUTIFUL WHEEL!! Definitely money well spent on this bad boy.

But, my standard pedals did not arrive. Im just wondering, for people who have ordered this wheel with the standard pedals, or for those who have ordered other wheels with standard pedals, did the pedals arrive in a seperate box? At the same time/seperately?

Any of you who ordered the GT2 and Standard pedals get your wheel and pedals yet?
 
If you have MS wireless wheel pedals or G25/G27 pedals you can use them until you get the Fanatecs, if you got the adapter with the GT2 like the Turbo S did. My advice would be to get the Clubsports as soon as you can, did you see on SRT they said it's like cheating in GT5! Otherwise, some games allow you to setup your gear shifts or buttons as gas and brake.
 
Hey, yeah Ive got Microsoft pedals, but the adaptor that is included with the GT2 looks to only be for the G27/G25 pedals, as it is a 7pin Serial to PS2 cable adaptor, whereas, the Microsoft Pedals use an RJ11 Cable(looks like a phone line, or a smaller version of an Ethernet plug)

Im sure they're just in a different shipment.. However, its irrelevant, I ordered the Clubsport pedals about 5 minutes after posting this thread, I was going to wait until after Christmas, but whats the point. Even if my standard pedals arrive tmrw, a wheel of this caliber deserves pedals that match it.

I did take the GT2 for a spin using my Amemiya RX7, with the paddle shifters mapped as Gas and Brake, and while its not the same as using pedals, the wheel feels and drives just superb. I already love it. The force feedback is so great, stronger than the logitech, but much more precise and smoother.

Now Ive got get all anxious AGAIN waiting for my Clubsports! Ahh well, at least they are in stock ready to go.. I expect they'll ship tmrw, hopefully Ill have em just after Christmas. Man I cant wait to drive with those pedals and the GT2!!
 
Great decision going with the ClubSport pedals. I was originally going to use the GT2 with a set of G27 pedals I had and I'm so glad I went ahead and got the Clubsport pedals. Such a huge difference they make to the overall experience!
 
Yeah I am very excited to use the clubsports.. Ive honestly wanted them since I first saw them in an SRT video they did on them. Great product.

Should be a lovely combo, the GT2 and Clubsports, along with my new Piloti's that are currently sitting under the tree :)

Im of course excited for Christmas, but now Im looking forward to the week after it even more since thats when my Pedals should get here!
 
Received an Email from Fanatec today, I asked them about my standard pedals as they didn't arrive with my wheel.

Apparently, the standard pedals are on backorder. Bummer. Would have been nice if they told me that, but, hey, what can ya do.


Greekbull, did you order your clubsports with the GT2, or did you already have the clubsport pedals? Reason I ask, is I ordered a set of clubsports two days ago, and I want to know if they are in stock. Its absolute torture having this wheel and not being able to use it, so I hope my clubsports ship soon.
 
I ordered the ClubSports a few days after I preordered my GT2 as a separate order, and they were in stock at the time. At the time I ordered my ClubSports shipped the day after my order and were here in 3 business days. They came in last Thursday and my wheel arrived this Monday.
 
Do the cheaper versions (gt3) accept h-gate, cause, sorry im not spending hundreds of dollars more for a wheel with h-gate when i can get a cheaper wheel then h-gate of the side.
 
The Carrera, the GT3RS and the new GT2 all are able to be used with the Hgate and Sequential shifters.. However, the shifter sets are unavailable atm, as I believe they are making new shifters(better design or something)

Thanks for the info.. I too made a seperate order for clubsports, but they haven't shipped yet.. I imagine they will after Christmas though, after all, I placed the order late at night on the 21st, so that doesn't give them much time to process the order before the Holidays. But Im kicking myself for not ordering them when I ordered the wheel.. I had the money but I figured, ehh Ill wait and see how the standard pedals are. Once I saw that only the wheel arrived, I ordered the clubsports right away, hoping they'd ship before Christmas. Guess Im not so lucky. Im so anxious to use this wheel!
