Hello @ all,

I received my Porsche GT2 Wheel yesterday, and Im very impressed, its really a cool Wheel,
but I cant get handy with GT5 and the Porsche GT2, I tested out these Settings :
Code:
Submitted on February 25. 2011
Game: Gran Turismo 5
Platform: Playstation 3
Wheel owned: 911 GT2
In-game settings

Wheel= simulation
Power assist = on
Force = 10

Before starting race choees wheel mod = Mild
skid = on

and Enjoy

On the wheel settings
Sensitivity (SEn): 900
Force feedback strength (FF): 100
Vibration strength (Sho): 100
Drift mode (dri): 2
ABS: 0
Linearity (Lin): 0
Deadzone (dEA): 0
Spring (SPr): 3
Damper (dPr): 3

from : http://www.fanatecwheel.com/settings/gt5-gt2-900

but its really a lil kind of hard when I drive with the Vettel X1 or the Ferrari F10, when I
reach a speed of 400 km/h with the X1, the Wheel shakes a lil, and with the Ferrari F10 by a speed
of 300 km/h.

Can anyone please help me with some settings for the Fanatec Porsche GT2 and GranTurismo 5?

...thx in advance.

Benny

What firmware does your wheel have? Try 10+ deadzone, Drift mode 0.

Im having trouble getting a nice feel in my GT2 aswell. I've managed to get it somewhat right by tweaking the wheel settings, but i would like to configure the buttons on the back of the wheel; does anyone know if that is possible? (For them to be ebrakes..) I also tried to change the sequential shifter direction. I needed to press it forward to shift up and pull it to shift down, which felt very unnatural to me. Couldnt find it though and just switched the shifter 180 degrees...

Help on those subjects would be nice!

WTTB Benny, please take a moment to re-read the Acceptable Use Policy here. Be sure to not use any 'textspeak' when posting online. Thanks.

For the cars mentioned i use:
In game
rotation 900
Ffb full
Simulation
No steering assists
No skid force recovery

On wheel
Rotation 270
Ffb. 40
Spr -3
Dpr -3
Dri off
Dead zone 10
Not sure on sho setting.

I think the key is in the deadzone setting.

^^^^^ I totally missed that post ^^^^

The x1 is the only car i have needed to add deadzone to. The f10/07 dont really need it as bad.
