Can anyone tell me if the dimensions of the shifter is the same (the bottom piece) , have a DIY shifterholder for the standard but i`m thinking of getting the CSR instead...
Is that trade worth the money...?

Base dimensions are the same. The changes between the two are internal as well as the metal shifter handle.

I don't have first hand experience but the general consensus is the CSR shifters are a substantial improvement in feel and sound over their plasticky, clicky predecessors.

It still does have a clicky sound when you shift. Mine is only mounted with the weak support that came with the shifter. I need to find a permanent solution to prevent movement when I shift.

I didn`t like the bending on shifts either so i did a armrest/shifterholder thats extremly firm! :)

Going to be screwed to a base were i also will screw my Playseat to.

Nice work on that armrest/ shift mount. Very similar to what i built. You can see mine in post 567 in the setup and mancave thread. Sorry on mobile.
