Hi,

I recently bought the Turbo S RF receiver for the Standard 911 Turbo so that i can go racing with my pretty much abandoned wheel (been using a Control pad since GT5 release).

The wheel works well, i am still much faster with a Control Pad, but i suppose that's expected...but i'll get there.

I am just wondering if anyone has found the perfect setup for this wheel, i've searched all over but i can only find setups for the Turbo S, which is totally different.

Issues i am having, is the Shake on High Speed Straights, can be quite annoying, and the lack of feel...i hardly ever feel Rumble Strips, or bumps in the road. The control pad gets them just right.

There is plenty of Force Feedback. So much so i had to turn it down.

The wheel only has these settings to play with:

Sen - 900 > 360 > 180 > Off
FF - 100 > 66 > 33 > 00
Sho - 100 > 66 > 33 > 00

At the moment, i have the settings on:

Sen - 900
FF - 33 (any more and it becomes to violent)
Sho - 00 (it's too unrealistic having it on where pressing the Gas pedal vibrates the wheel? Just feels and seems weird)

Those are the only settings, there is no Deadzones or Linear settings to play with.

On GT5 i have the settings at:

Simulation
Power Assisted Steering - On
FF Level 2

Any help would be greatly appreciated....with a wheel i'm starting to love this game, and Grinding for XP is becoming less of a chore.

Thanks.

I think the setting you have is close to the what I would pick also. Personally I do not like power steering mode but I understand you taking it because your wheel does not have drift mode.

I would however try to put 1 in game and try to increase wheel setting. (at least turbo s works better if wheel setting is closer to 100%)

Is there any way to change the button configuration on the GT2 wheel through Gran Turismo?
