I'm just 3 hours into the game, and have some questions regarding the PWTS and GT5, some might be obvious, some not.

I have the Clubsport pedals plugged into the wheel, and the wheel plugged in via USB into the PS3

Questions
1. Clutch - I just can't get it to work (couldn't in GT5p), I've chosen an arcade race, MT, all assists off, I start the race, and the clutch does nothing, if I press the triangle (as suggested for GT5p), again, nothing.. Any help? Or a bona fida track/mode/car that definitely works for you?
2. Rumble/Vibration - if I go over some kerbs (e.g. Suzuka), I get nice bassy audio of the rumble, but nothing on the wheel, I'm kind of worried it might be duff.. The same goes for FFB, it is nicely weighted, but I don't get a huge amount of feedback showing the steering unloading etc, I have FFB set to 8 in GT5 Wheel options, and 80% on the WHeel (Shock is 80%)..

I might pop in FM3 and check it's still working as I thought it all was (I think you get engine revs as vibration in FM3, and the FFB seems quite fierce over kerbs if turned right up?)..

Any help appreciated!..

I don't know. I have got GT5 yet. I have tried it in Forza 3 and GT5P. Wheel FFB at 100% Forza at 50% in game and GT5P at 30% in game. FFB feels much stronger in GT5P than in Forza 3 with these settings.

Thanks, on reading that thread, I think the thing is, I don't have the external H shifter for the wheel, it seems the clutch only works for that!

I could order a shifter set, or wait for the Clubsport one.. :)

FFB wheel resistance is high in GT5, I just don't get much sensation when the tyres lose grip, I slide, then they regain grip and the steering suddenly 'jolts', I kind of was expecting a light feeling when sliding, then a kick when the front wheels suddenly gained grip.. I'll carry on and see what's what, I'm only in slow cars at the moment!

[edit] Ahh.. err... I have a 5.1 surround system in a tiny room, and the bass is the issue, if I turn the sound down, I am left with reasonable FFB effects and rumble, it's just the bass tends to overwhelm things a bit and mask it.. Nothing to see here, carry on.. *whistles*
