So I got my Fanatec order (CSR wheel, CSR Elite pedals, CS shifter, wheel stand) and am a multiplatform owner (X360, PS3, PC). Right now I only have used it in FM4 and still getting used to it, trying to find the best settings. The wheel came arrived with the FW issue bug that caused it to whine. They replied within a day to a link and I did the update. Much better now!

What do you Fanatec owners use as settings for racers? FM4, GT5, F1, DiRT, and on PC right now it's mostly GTR2 (limited at the moment)?

Also, how do you guys setup the clutch pedal in FM4? Haven't figured that out, but I'll mostly be paddle shifting it until I hardmount the shifter (kind of flimsy with the 2 posts coming out the wheel). Guess my Logitech MOMO and DFGT wheels will soon be up for sale as I'm loving this new setup :)

Can't remember my exact settings (I am away from home for the holidays).

Don't really play GT5 anymore, but I usually run 270 or 900 degrees, FFB 100, Vibration 80, everything else 0 or off, and drop the in game FFB to 3/4.

FM4 I run sim steering at 270 degrees, FFB 100, Vibration 60, ABS 65, everything else 0 or off.

Dirt 3 is just a mess regarding FFB. It is almost useless trying to drive by feel. Adjust the settings to your liking, I suggest a low vibration effect, and adjust drift mode to compensate for the lack of proper feedback (mainly the rear getting loose). Shame really; I love rally and WRC 2 hasn't been released yet in the US.

F1 use damper and drift mode for proper feedback (Codemasters will eventually get it right). If you check on the Fanatec wheel owners fan site and Thomas's blog you can find alot of good information and user suggested/rated settings.

Thanks man! I'll be trying a lot of this stuff this week. Came across some info as well I googled

Yeah, is it just me or does Forza 4 feel better at 270 degrees? Anything higher, I feel lethargic when trying to save myself from a death wobble/tank slapper.

There is a current problem with linearity above 270 degrees; so it's not just you but everyone with a 900 deg. wheel.

I race at 220-270 anyways depending on the game.

Cuco, what link did they provide for the update? Was it this one:

http://www.911wheel.de/

I made a similar inquiry to Fanatec and they simply directed me to that link, but I only see reference to CSR Elite wheels, not the regular CSR.

So far one of the settings I like in FM4 is using Thomas from Fanatec's recommended one. I'm not the best car tuner but I have noticed my tunes for pad are very different than my tunes for wheel, mostly tire pressures are a lot higher, 40-45psi range with wheel as compared to pad where I'm at 29-32psi. Not perfect but getting there! Basically I have not found my sweet spot yet. In GT5 it seemed a bit more straight forward using the same wheel settings. Not perfect either but I'm getting close to that 'sweet spot'. Need to try more of the tunes from the website that VWMasteR linked up.

For the clutch I use 5 inside DZ and 35 outside DZ. (I think) Very short fast fast engagment.
