Fanatec Turbo S vs 911 GT2

I'm close to getting my wheel soon but i'm wondering if i should get the GT2 or the turbo s, obviously people would say the gt2 because its newer but in Australia is $100 more than the GT2.
So is it worth spending $100 for the new GT2? i don't really know what alcantara feels like, so i can't really decide myself
 
I have both and while the GT2 feels a little nicer, I say save the money and go with the Turbo S. The differences are not huge.
 
I don't think the turbo s is for sale anymore.
 
The distributor for Australia has a few Turbo S' still in stock, because Australia missed out, Fanatec still had some for Australia to buy

As a Turbo S owner with absolutely no intention of buying a GT2 I have to say stick with the Turbo S, I don't believe you are missing out on anything

Really it comes down to the wheel itself and what you want to hold. The only difference between the two is that the GT2 is Alcantera, and the PWTS is leather. If it were me, while I prefer the Alcantera, I wouldn't pay $100 extra for it:)
 
Well, the Turbo S is rarer as it was a limited run. Also in a couple years your Alcantara won't feel the same....so...Internally they're the same wheel which is why I haven't ordered a GT2 yet.
