Fanatec v2 vs logitech g27

So I am planning on investing in a new wheel someday. Probably about the time forza 4 comes out. My thought was to get the fanatec wheel that is compatible with the xbox and playstation. I think it's the 911 gt2. But with the pedals and shifter it will be like $500. Where as I could just get the g27 and not get forza 4 and continue playing gt5. Is the fanatec wheel really that much better than the g27? That is, do they both have their strengths and weaknesses?
 
The 'Search' option is your friend. There are threads already about wheel vs wheel...
 
By the time Forza 4 comes out you'd be regretting buying a wheel you can't use with it. As far as comparisons go as Greeze said, check the forums for info.
 
Yeah you could go the cheaper route and go with the fanatec gt2 + standard pedals. That brings the price down to g27 range. That's the nice thing bout the fanatec package you can split it apart and expand later. And since you're interested in playing forza 4 with a wheel it's probably an easy choice if you can get past the wait for a gt2

Theres only one choice if you want to race on Xbox and Xbox has many great driving games you can enjoy on live.
