Well as I'm sure a few of you know my Logitech G27 that I bought in the states is faulty and as my warranty is not covered in the UK I have no choice than to get a new wheel :grumpy: What a waste of £200! So I was thinking about getting a Fanatec GT3 RS but I have a few questions that I would like answered 👍

How long does delivery take to get to the UK?

Are the G27's Pedals compatible with the GT3 RS Wheel?

How does the Force Feedback compare to the G27's?

Are the buttons easy to locate while driving? As I will be using F1 2011 with this wheel and would like to be able to use KERS and DRS without having to take my eyes off the screen

Is the Fanatec's shifter any good?

Well I cant answer many of your questions I can tell you that you would be better off waiting a little while and getting Fanatec's new Club Sport Wheel w/quick release F1 rim. This is the one I'm considering, either that or the CSR-Elite which has slightly less features but has the same base unit/mechanicals. Check out this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=203494 for everything we currently know about all of their new stuff coming.
Buying the GT3 RS at this point doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it will be quickly obsolete and I don't think you would really save any money that way.

Edit: Actually scratch that, the GT3 RS is currently a lot cheaper at ~180 pounds, didn't realize they'd marked it down.
The CSW is $599 with the F1 rim and no pedals
And the CSR-Elite I mentioned is $499 with rim and no pedals

I am in a slightly different situation as I have just had a wheel dispatched from Fanatec to replace a faulty on (see my other post).

It was dispatched on Friday 16th Sept and according to USP's tracking site it is due here on Tuesday coming, the 20th.

However when buying a wheel i believe they could dispatch in anything up to 7 days so at most i would say about 12-14 days from processing of order to receipt of goods.

After 3 different orders from Fanatec that were all dispatched on a Friday i reckon they may save up orders to dispatch on a Friday to save some bean.. makes sense to me.

CSR-E/CSW are going to be a hell of a lot more expensive than the current GT3RS though. Understandably so of course :)

Personally, I'd wait for CSR package or just get a GT3RS now. It'll still be a great wheel for a good while yet and you're going to have pay a lot more to get something better.

EDIT: You edited  Disregard.

I did forget the CSR, its more of an upgrade on the GT2/GT3, and not an all new unti like the CSR-Elite or the Clubsport. Not sure of the price point but pre-orders of at least the CSR are supposed to be starting soon. Products are already en route from manufacturer to distributors.

Fanatec's shifter isnt bad but feels a bit cheaper quality than the wheel. I will probably get the CS shifter when it comes out.

Apparently, the CSR package (wheel/pedals/shifter) will be around 320 Euros.
Those pedals might not be quite up to CSP standards, but they do look pretty sweet.
Yeah, it's 'just' a minor upgrade over the GT2 but at that price, count me in :)

As you know, the higher end stuff is more comparable to Frex/ECCI offerings, and as such can be considered quite a bargain when you factor in all the extras. Just a little rich for me unfortunately :(

Anyone know of a gear / shift indicator that will work with a Fanatec GT2 compatible with Xbox and or PS3?

Is this possible or only available on PC?
