Hey guys! I was just wondering how the wheel sensitivity for your Fanatec wheel translates into the game. I tried putting Sens to 900 but the wheel gets turned maxed after just rotating 270 degrees either side (540 degrees Sens). Is there an in game wheel sensitivity setting I am missing?

When you put GT5 wheel options in simulation mode, set the wheel sensitivity to off.
Then you can feel difference between for example a Cobra and a Gallardo.
Cobra is less sensitiv in comparison.
I always play with 400 degrees when I'm racing.

so there is no way i can play with a true 900 degrees in gt5? I thought I saw people doing that before?

Hmm - I will go check later, but I could have sworn when I did the T500/GT2 test the GT2 was allowing full 900 rotation.

If not then what's the point?

I am not having any problem getting 900 in both GT5 and Forza with my GT2. I have sensitivity set to 900.

Yup, Eric the wheel can be set to 900 and be turned to 900 smoothly without any soft locks in between. But I think you'll notice that when you turn 270ish either side, the wheel in game will already be turned maxed. Correct me if I am wrong.

A future firmware update might fix this?

I'm pretty sure I watched the wheels on cars in GT5 and the wheels kept turning as far t
as the turbo s would turn.

I'll have to double check, but it feels the same or similar to my DFP.

I checked both GT5 and Forza last night, and I am getting 900 degrees in both. You are right in that the on screen wheel (if using cockpit view) stops after about 270 degrees. However, the car continues to turn sharper as I turn the well the full 450 degrees in each direction.

Hmmm... this is weird. I'll try to do do more test and confirm. Because I'm pretty certain the in-game wheel's maxed out before I reach the assigned Sens

Don't look at the steering wheel. Look at the wheels on the car to see if they are reacting to your steering. The steering wheel in the cockpit view will not turn at a 1/1 ratio with the toy wheel you are using.

That's quite different experiences there. May I ask what wheel DV and Bevo is using? I'm pretty sure my 'in-game' wheel sensitivity is a lower lower than my setting
