Well, first off, I have to say, I went Joe Pesci on Fanatec. BUT, I had and have every right to. Long story short, I got my wheel when promised, and it was defective. What happened, is when I plugged it in, it would sometimes turn on within 1-2 minutes, sometimes, not.

So, I contacted support, was a bit harsh, and got a very prompt response. I sent the proper information over, and wah-lah mates, a replacement was shipped within 2 days. NOW, this one kind of did the same thing, but as of late, it's been very good, and no issues. I love it, and know it will last several years to come with proper care.

I hate to have to say it this way, but if you want your questions/concerns answered promptly by support, be mean. If you are nice, it can take 1-2 weeks for an answer. In a lot of cases, you will get NO response. When you email again, they say, oh sorry, we must have missed that one. BULLS***.

I know Thomas is working diligently to get his support better, but the people there do not want to be any more helpful. I still have 0 respect for their support. I had to chew Armin and Claudia out in order to get what they promised me. And I am sure they have me marked down somewhere, BUT, they failed to do their job, and as a paying customer, we do have rights. I just exercised mine, that's all. It should NOT have to get to this, but, it is what it is.

Side note, Sabine is awesome, that's about the only one I can say this about. Also, the warehouse in CA is very good with information. Since I have their email, I check up on what's in stock every couple of weeks. So, if anyone in the US wants something Fanatec, and wants to know if it is in stock, let me know. I can ask, and get a response within 1 day.

I have had several friends of mine order from Fanatec since I have received mine, and have warned about the fears with CS. Last note, if it is IN STOCK, normally you will have no issue. It is the backordered items that seem to have the issues with shipment dates and create the buzz with poor CS. In stock items seem to have smooth transactions.

I'm playing the polite British reserve card, and will probably end up being last lol.
 
Do not buy Fanatec products I just make this mistake!! I pay more than 300€ and they send me a broken wheel with 888 error! Now they not answer my mails they do not answer to the phone, nothing! So think 2 times before you send them you money!! I save money for 3 months and I get nothing! Their support is 1/10 ! Buy a wheel from your city shop!
