wow...its been a long time since i have posted here but its also been a long time since i picked up the game. so now they have a dedicated thread to drifters eh? only thing i can say to that is...it was bound to happen.
so im assuming if you are viewing this...then you are into both drifting and into the ZO6. thanks for stoppin to read.
i personally have come to terms with myself that the ZO6 is my favorite car to drift. a close second is the FD's but the ZO6 still ranks on top of my list for the drifting car of choice.
would anybody mind posting their settings for their ZO6s tuned for drifting? here is my input on what should be done to trick this ride out.
**weight reduction must be at least stage 2.**
thats the only way to go with this sucker cuz if you neglect the car in this way...you wont be able to manuver it around the way you need to.
**flywheel must be of the semi-racing variety**
this is pretty much true for most drifter cars in GT3. without the revs falling so damn fast...you gain the ability to modulate the throttle much easier than you would with a racing flywheel.
**NA tuning**
if you go with stage 1 then you should use sim tires
if you go with stage 2 then you should use normal tires
if you go with stage 3 then you should use sport tires
pretty simple eh?
**springs**
i strongly suggest that you reduce the spring rates in the front and back evenly to about 7.4kg in front and 7.1kg in back. but play around with it...to each his own.
**camber**
pretty much whatever you want. i prefer 1.6F/.6R
**damper**
the usual.
**stabilizers**
level 4 does the trick in front and back
**VCD**
i have mine set to 11 initial/24 accel/8 decel. as with the springs...to each his own...whatever fits your style of play will do.
AND ASIDE FROM ALL THIS...JUST PURCHASE THE BEST PARTS
hope this was of interest. i was just bored and dreaming of owning one of these badboys and then one thing led to another and here i am. like i said...feel free to add your settings...i wouldnt mind trying some new ones out.
