2010 IZOD Indycar Season

Next race:
Sao Paulo Indy 300
Sunday March 14th

Now I don't want it to feel like I am ripping of Justin, because I'm not, but this is the first time I am going to have a go at something like this and plus, it will bring some excitement to watching your IRL Racing again.

Rules:
  • Each participant must pick 3 drivers AND 1 team each week.
  • You cannot select a driver or team more than 1 week in a row, this will hopefully make it more interesting(If you do select a driver 2 weeks in a row you won't get any points for that driver)
  • Your picks must be PM'd to me by the start of qualifying.
  • You may post your picks as soon as you have PM'ed them to me but if you edit your picks, you will be disqualified instantly.
  • In the event of a tie the person with the most wins will be placed ahead
  • If you want to discuss race results please use spoiler tags since people see the race at different times

We will be using the current IZOD Indycar Points system

Fastest lap will get 5 more bonus points
Most laps led will get 5 bonus points
If you driver leads a lap, it is worth 1 bonus point
If your driver qualifies on the pole position, you get one bonus point
If your chosen team gets a 1-2-3-4 finish (dependant on number of cars in team because some have two and some have three and there will be a couple of occassions where one team will have four), you get 20 bonus points

Standings will be available after the first race

Just so it doesn't seem like you're ripping Justin, why not allow us to post our picks in the thread?

Once somebody posts their picks, they're final, and if they edit their post (although somebody might pull a ninja edit) they get DQ'd for that race.

Not that I'm saying someone would pull a ninja edit, but the possibility is there. I used to run a fantasy NASCAR and F1 league on another forum and only once I DQ'd someone for editing their picks.

Well i have decided to not do this one anymore.

I didn't get enough interest from it but we will try again next year
