Fantasy tracks vs World tracks, different physics?

Is it just me here or it seems like the physics are more arcade on the Fantasy tracks?
Cape Ring, Trial mountain, etc.. it feels like i'm driving a NFS title, like i haven't turned off the Skid Recovery or something.. there's just something arcade about them, anyone noticed the same or am i tripping here?
 
Your tripping. I have a hard time staying in "NFS" mode during the first parts of Trail Mountain and Deep Forest.
 
The only thing 'arcade' about them to me is that they were made for a video game. I love Cape Ring, almost every single turn is cambered to help power through.

But the car kinda flows unrealistically on them.. understeer seems way off, or way more unrealistic then normal.. i can't be trippin', i can't stand a lap on them for some reason.. makes me sick as to how different the physics are.
 
No the physics aren't different, but the fantasy tracks are much bumpier than many of the real tracks and have much more crests and acceleration changes giving them a different feel.

+1 The fantasy tracks are, in my mind, road courses that have been converted (like Sarthe which is also bumpy) to be temporary tracks. The bumps and elevation changes throw your car all over the place.
 
I think the fantasy tracks are, for the most part, more fun to drive.

They offer more variety and more thrilling moments.

Who doesn't crack a grin every time they go airborne in Cape Ring?

I think this is the reason, that throwing and leaving the ground just doesn't feel right imo.. i think there are still glimpses of old GT physics, when you couldn't roll the car over.. that are intefering here.
