Anyone else collect these? sorry if this has been poasted before, am new. I have all the currently available cars except for the Yenko Camaro, because its rare and expensive. Anyone know somewhere that has details about the new models coming out?

I know there is the Skyline & Saleen mustang from 2 fast 2 furious coming out soon. And have read about the new
Honda Integra Type R, Toyota Celica, Nissan 350Z & Nissan Sylvia but not sure when these are in either films (i know the type R is in fast & furious).

Or just who else collects these, & what you got?
 
Ugh. These model cars are about the most worst looking ones Ive aver seen. The detail is extremly low, the engine are just big peices of plastic that just looks like a engine. The rims detail sucks. And the model is built poorly. You are obvious wasting your money. You'll better off collecting the Hot wheel tuner cars.

I know your new, and welcome to GTP. But you coulda posted this in the 1/18th scale thread thats below this new one you made.

Mod's, please close this thread, or move it to the 1/18th thread. thank you.
 
I have one of those three black Honda Civics and Brian's Eclipse. I want Johnny Tran's S2000 and Letty's 240SX. They don't make the 240SX and the S2000 is just plain rare. I don't collect the 2Fast 2 Furious cars because they don't have Florida license plates on them. When I go for model cars, I look for real authentic license plate.
 
You can hardly call them low on detail, I know that a few haven't got all the decals on them (licensing i guess) but they look pure Q to me, the whole point of these is to have them as a display or something like that, and they look class.

I also happen to collect normal 1:18 scale cars, and alot of them have worse detail than fast & furious cars.

I agree i hate the fact the the 2fast models dont have proper plates, and there really isnt any excuse. But you probably wont want Johnny's S2000 then because that has a 2fast2furious plate on it (even though it from 1st film, yes very bad attention to detail!) Lettys 240SX (Sylvia) is coming out i have seen things about it, at least i assume its Lettys, it just says Nissan Sylvia coming soon. Have you got the Yenko Camaro or even seen it?

Agreed on. For Hot Wheels, I have the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pinifarina. For Maisto, I have a Benz ML55, Benz S500, BMW 840i, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and those are just a few. I need to go back and check them out again. :drool:

555, Its obvious these models suck.

The only one I have is the FATF Veilside RX-7 just cause its a RX-7..
 
i cant afford to buy autoart, i have got a 250 GTO, 288 GTO, Testarossa, F50, 575M Maranello all from hotwheels and yes they very good Q.
I got a Maisto XJ220 & Merc-Benz CLK GTR and not very impressed.

Where did u get Da yenko from? cause they have only been made in limited stock of 5000.

How did u break it?

Um, I hate to break it to yea, but I went to my Local Super Wal-Mart and they had atleast 500 of them stacked up...1 by 1, side by side. I would buy it that the fact if the car wasn't fake in the movie.

In case you're wondering, the Yenko Camaro rolled off when I was done polishing and then putting back Civic No. 2 out of 3 (yes, I bought 3 Civics :rolleyes: ) The front is damaged, so it looks like that it pushed it and it crashed into the wall.

There is no way that you saw the 1:18 scale 2f2f Yenko Camaro at Wal-Mart because they were only offered through diecast dealers. The car was commissioned by Supercar Collectibles and their cars are not available at Wal-Mart. Also, it was indeed a limited edition of 5000. As far as the detail on the 1:18 scale FATF cars, it's decent. It may not be as good as Auto Art but it is in the same league as Hot Wheels and Maisto.

Well if you are drop dead serious, then i'd go get 1 or 2 or loads! and sell them all of at a profit. I have only ever seen the Yenko once & it was £45.

Oh by the way dont take notice of the picture of the black S2000, because the red decals down the side are different to what you get on the real thing, you only get the top 4 of them.

PS anyone know why the Skyline from 2fast 2 furious keeps getting delayed? i have now read its not coming out till August

People here are shrieking that only 5000 were made and you say you are dead serious. Maybe those Yenko Camaros are forged and fake?

By the way i read that a Nissan 350Z from the Fast & the furious is now out.
A - How can this be from the 1st film? the 350Z didnt exist then
B - When is there 1 in either film?

I'm a model car collector, when I see a 1/18th scale, I know a 1/18th scale. BTW, I grabbed me a yenko Camero then my dad took it... and gave me $30 back for it....

How much did you bought it for? Around the $22 mark? That's how much all the TF&TF 1:18 scale car costs here in Las Vegas...at a Wal-Mart.

Here, all the Fast And the Furious Models cost $14.99. I told him it was $30. My dad wanted it cause he likes cameros. But I got $15 more dollars than I paid for, thats all that madders to me.

The figures come with the 1/24th or lower scale models.

No, My grandfather needed our digital camera cause they went to Russia for vacation.:mad:
 
The 240SX is listed as a Sylvia. i cant remember the site i saw it on, and i did see 1 wer it just had a picture of a plane red Sylvia. But i would assumer this will be Letty's car.

Can anyone tell me what kind of Corvette it was that was used in the chase seen with the Viper, Saleen, Camaro, Evo, Eclipse Spyder etc. cos i want to by a normal model of it. I think its a Corvette C5
