Fasted Way to get 1000 Cars

Hey guys, just wondering how did some of you reach 1000 cars?

-did you buy the cheapest premium over and over again
-buy up everything from the ucd
-have 1 of every car

I'm currently at 930-ish. Buying out everything I don't already own. Have a few duplicates for cars I enjoy (or need different setups... drift vs race vs stock), but the rest are from me following the UCD.

oh man thats crazy, im a pretty picky buyer, i dont tend to buy cars that have more than 7000km on them. After i reach the 1000 cars, im just going to sell most of them and have the car collection i actually want.

You won't be selling many of them, deleting maybe.

I'm buying everything, the cheap rides first, just to get to 1000 and to have a chance of getting chrome for every 30. 507 now, still a long way to go

I bought every car under 50000cr in the UCD, after every 5 day cycle, untill I reached 1000 cars...

And then I sold most of them, I now have 320 cars left, no need for every single car in the game....

That takes too long, I tried it with buying cheap premiums, but that becomes very annoying.

I was getting 4 new cars a day up until about 2 weeks before the update stopped everything. Trading became a real hassle after a while so I stopped trading once I got every car thats 750000 and over. I have 600 cars now. I already have every car I want and I dont really care how long it takes me to get to 1000. Just buying up the cars I dont have from the UCD now, as they come up, starting with the cheapest first.

I did not go about it any particular way other than buying two of any premium car I own so I can have one stock for close online battles and one fully tuned to test maximum performance of each car available in-game.
I think I have about 1150 at the moment but that changes everyday and is listed in my signature anyway. It does make buying the cars expensive and time consuming but I enjoy the resulting garage I have amassed.
Only downside is I'm a little bit OCD so I have to have 4 of all the Race Modifiable cars so I can have one non-RM stock and one tuned plus one RM'd stock and one tuned... You can see now how that gets expensive!... But I now own all the RMs and most of the other cars I desire and am just building the collection to hopefully own (at least) one of each individual model in the game... 👍

I don't need any additional cars unless the seasonals require something I don't already have so I'm buying up anything that's interesting or cheap in the UCD and stuff I like the look of in the NCD - am up to 511 cars so far doing that.

Then I guess I'll get the more expensive / less interesting stuff as I want to have at least one of each car in the game, I'm not doing it for the trophy, I just want to collect them all.

I only have 320 car and I have all the cars I need, I would like to have the trophy and I would buy more cars just for the fun of collecting them. But the boring, tedious and long process to buy just one car is done with me, I only buy the car I really want.

Do you guys know how long take to buy just 10 cars? I prefer racing vs buying the hole evening.

I'm going for the 1000 different cars variety. I'm at 410 now, and a little disheartened that 90% of cars in the UCD are absolute ****e. I actually don't WANT to buy most of the rubbish available.

Same here, except I´m over 1000. Only do the rubberband thingy, cause always being on low money in GT5. All my cars come from the dealerships which I visit definetly too often by the way

My friend that has +1000 cars and when I asked him how he got that much, he said that he grinded using B-Spec Dream Car Championship (most likely he used the X2010) and during that time, he just watches some TV or does other time-consuming activities. If he doesn't have anything else to do, he just grinds on American Champs or Like the Wind A-Spec. He has been doing the same thing throughout since GT5's release. Very proud of him 👍

I decided I don't want the trophy that much.

It's been bad enough grinding B spec, which still isn't done until I max out my #1 driver's career.

I think I'd rather be racing.

Im just cicling and buying everything form ucd , rest me 45 cars only , the cheap crap ones .Already got all nice ones , just grind alot for the money and cicle alot , every full cicle i get like 1 new car on the ucd that i didnt have .Now im buying my fav cars, im low milage ,

All race , lm , dtm , cars i got 0 miles on trade and from 1000 ticket

With the dam buying animation it took me around 12 hrs, i think. Splitted it for 3 days. Was really the mental hardest trophy.

Better buy the cheap UCD cars if you like to collect the cars. Think forward. 👍

👍^^^👍 This is the same process I use to build up my funds. X2010 on DCC for Bob when I'm busy eating, studying or watching TV then when I feel I need a rapid funds boost I do AC: Indy for an hour or so. I have never duped or cheated in any other form so I'm proud to say I actually earnt every car I own! Only additional thing I do is put Bob onto the Endurance races overnight while I sleep or like now while I'm "studying hard" at University... Good work Bob!... You keep grinding while I set myself up for life!

I bought mainly the important cars in the beginning, and when I started having some cr. I bought every car from the UCD. Ofcourse I missed some expensive UCD cars this way but I got them all after about 3 1/4 months. Leaving the Premiums (especially the Nascars) to the last. And when I reached A-spec level 40 I bought the X2010 in orange.

Okay. I have all the cars in the game (about 1040 now) except for the few endurance and license bonus I haven't earn. And here's how I did it.

I grind up to $20 million. Play normally everyday and buy every standard car in the UCD that I don't have. If you blend your play with seasonal and Dream Car, your balance will always be around $12-18 million.

Every standard car WILL show up on the UCD eventually. Once you get all the standards, you can start working on the premiums.

I got them all in about 2 month of serious play. I have to admit I also acquired about 30 from trades.
