Fastest Car in GT6?

Ok, so I need some help from the GTplanet community. My little brother and I (I'm 36, he's 21) have been doing some racing online lately. We did route X (?) and he and his friend toyed with me and my Viper doing "only" 292 mph (VERY frustrating). Anyway, he's challenged me again on new years day to another top speed challenge. Last time he had a Supra doing about 312 mph. He has probably tuned it to something faster now or gotten a faster car. So I'm trying to figure out what car to buy for top speed. Any advice for a old gamer?

One more thing, I'm an Alfa fan and he despises them and he destroyed me in the last race I took an Alfa in and mocked my car. So if anyone knows how fast that TZ Stradale is, let me know as that would be sweet to beat him with an Alfa. Thanks!

What viper / supra were you using ? race car or street ?
If your using race cars make sure your downforce is set at minimum, if street car remove wings, doing this will lower the drag on the car helping you gain a higher top speed..
big turbo and having a play with the gearbox will help you .. you need to have a testing session to figure it out, I'm sure your brother will have done some testing, don't go racing unprepared lol..
 
My alfa does 307mph without draft or nos. 322 with nos and 330+ in a good draft. I never have a problem with a supra
 
Thanks for the help! I really don't want to use the Redbull tough. jonjig, I was using the ACR Viper. I only had 15 mins to prepare for a race and I didn't know we were doing a high speed run :(. You can't remove the wing in-race it seems, so all I could do was put the downforce to the lowest possible. banginspl, have you tuned that alfa for top speed very much? I'm really leaning toward that car but not certain yet.

Late to the party here, but I have only been able to hit the wall at 297 mph in the TZ3. Down the hill with NOS I can get up to 314/315. But once things level out and terminal velocity is reached it's 297 for the TZ3.

Not sureof all my settings but -.05/+.10 for the toe F/R ridde height at (20 above lowest I think) Gearing at the stock 286 and 2.5 rear end.

I've tweaked the gearing a little and haven't found any extra speed. Some here have managed, but I have yet to see a speed tune for it.

The Zonda Huyra (sp?) I can hit TV at 290 or so. The Veyron (13) a little less.

I'm reading this post looking for the fastest car at Route X with settings. I have yet to find a definitive answer.
 
the fastest car is actually the SRT Tomahawk. its a new car, from GT Vision. my speed record is 670 km/h without any settings or slipstream. it only costs 1.000.000!
 
pagani hyara (sp?) i use the aniversary edition. on nitrous fully tuned goes about 330. with a tow even faster. you can buy em at the stealership. i just got mine with the pre.order copy.
