Fastest non-race modified cars or special won cars?

    Not including any of the F1's or other racing modified cars won/bought, the fastest car I have is my Toyota Supra RS (J). After supping it up with the latest engine, stage 4 turbo and any other speed upgrade component, i was able to get it up to 1081 hp. However, after that i purchased the expensive race gears, and basically the best of evrything else the game had to offer. After tinkering with the manual ajustment options on the gears i was able to get my 1081 Toyota Supra RS (J) up to 300+ m/ph. The reason i say 300+ is because there is no course in the game where i can acheive full speed.
I was wondering if any one else has a car (not including the F1's/race modified cars) that can go faster?

I cant seem to break 270 in my supra, could you share your settings so that i can try them?  I have a feeling that the Escudo or speed 12 will once again be the fastest cars in the game, but I cant afford them quite yet.
 
Yah my supra was stuck at like 271 for a while, but if u go into the settings before the race and you have a race modified gears in your supra, if u go to the bottom option and move it all the way to right, the exceleration lines will spread out, causing less exceleration put more overall speed in 6th gear. then if u go up one option to the whats called final gear or whatever. move it to the left. the less the number the more speed u get. Move it according to your own liking because this also decreases your excelertation, keep so u only get around 290 out your car on the test track, because theres no point putting it any higher because u cant reach it.
