Fastest NY Lap

New York, home sweet home, also known as the track with the really narrow straightaway and an abupt stop into a roundabout. I had some confidence and took my new favorite car, the Nissan R92CP and best time was 1.24,1.22, 1.21 817. What's your best and the car?

PS- I never drive with traction control so the straightaway was really scary, especially the force feedback.

about this subforum, I didn't know

I got 1.22 383, but I i know I can do better, it's just really hard to control the car. Also I think my steering wheel is broken, it's shaking at 150mph...

I love this track! I'm'a go give it a try right now with my Black FGT :)

First lap out and got a 1'16.655 :D I had TCS and ASM turned off, though with all the slow right angle corners it might be quicker to use TCS, I took them all slowly in 4th, 3rd with TCS "might" be better :)

Nice time!! I've never driven a Formula before but I can't wait. The main thing I have to worry about with the R92CP is losing traction coming out of the turn around, and a lot of smooth acceleration. I'm also losing time in the corners because I go too wide, I don't like the brake lol, not with this car.
 
Hate to be the sinic but, if my boy east did a 1'16 in an FGT and then you do a 1'12 in an R92, it's hard to believe. One would assume the R92 would be far slower, of course you probably had racing super softs, TCS, and like 1100bhp or however much you can get out of the R92. One would just assume that the FGT would be far quicker at this track. Of course, I haven't tried either car at this track.

He probably did have R5s and 1000+ BHP, but dont forget I only did 1 lap lol, theres probably plenty time left in it. But I trust Stidriver, he has posted replays before 👍
 
Thanks East. I was using R5's + upgrade turbo 4 and no NOS. I put in about 80 mile on the car to get the time. The car has more time in it also. This was the first time driving the R92 other than the IA16 license test.
 
I guess it was just east's time that threw me off. No personal attack by any means STi. I may have to make a few laps just for fun...

I don't mind any modifications at all, it's your fastest car period!

We should start using pictures shouldn't we?
 
The .max file is the file type that is used by the Max Drive. You will need to get a Max Drive if you want to watch the replay. A Max Drive is a small device that alows you to put saves from your PS2 onto your PC or from your PC onto your PS2. Hope that helps :)

Okay will I be able to watch it with an NTSC gt4 though?
