any one know what production car has the fastest speed? i think it is the Mclaren F1, is it not?

i know it is not in production, but by production i dont mean being made now. i mean the fastest ever made and whether or not it was made for the streets.

The Koenigsegg CC advertises itself as "the fastest street legal car in production with a top speed exceeding 390 km/h and an acceleration that takes it up to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds"

That's 242 MPH top speed, and 0-62 in under 3.5 seconds.

im not sure if it is a production car but its a Bugatti 16/4 Veyron and does 251mph

that sounds a bit too fast to me. but if we're debating about street legal, i have an article of a supra doing 257mph, and its totally street legal. however production car wise then yeah it would be one of the maclaren f1's.
