hey,

I'm new here and if just started playing GT3 seriously for about 2 weeks (love holidays :D ), altough I have it for quite a long time. Now last week I bought a Porsche RGT (I think, the middle one :p ) and I've tuned it up to about 1044 Pk, all parts installed. I love the car, drives great, looks nice, but I was wondering if there are any street cars (no race cars) that I can buy and tune that are faster then the RUF ?? I just looooooove the progress you can make, plus the cars look much better...

Mayb some settings???

0-400 m in 9.948 seconds I think

Thxx A Lot

If searched the forum but dind't find the answer

okee

lolz you like the fast and the furious huh...me 2 :D

that's the best race you describe there,

ps the jerk also said "pall" ;)

I think, the RUF RGT, is one of the fastest Street-Cars.
The RUF CTR2 and the Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4 Turbo , are verry fast too.

The Nissan Skyline is for me a little to sluggish by steering
but I'm often hear from other people, that's a verry good Car !

perhaps my Set up can to be wrong from the Skyline !?

So long Werner

Werner - I just ran the Amateur Skyline series last night, and you are correct. I believe that most people call the Skyline a very good car because it can be modified for lots of power.

My R32 Skyline is fast, but difficult to drive fast. Braking is poor, and it understeers BADLY under power. It requires an 'almost out of control' driving style.

In general, if you reduce the Limited Slip Acceleration effect for the front wheels, and stiffen up the rear suspension, it will help. I have not added the VCD which would help as well, by reducing power to the front a little.

I'm learning to like it, but I think there are easier cars to drive fast, like the Viper. With the Viper, you ALWAYS oversteer. You don't have the sudden transition from oversteer-to-understeer to deal with.

Oh Well !!!

I'm to forget completely the Zonda.
That's a verry fast Car, with a fantastic handling.
It is one of the best Cars, with this car You can win near all races.
But the RUF RGT, is better for drift's .

If you have a different driving-style, then you'll find some cars are better then others ??!!

I like 2 slide a bit, with the front wheels on that red thingie in the corners, works well. I think that' s because I have played a lott of Rally games (Especially Colin McRae Rally)...The RUF RGT is great, If I find a good setup for the skyline, I'll go for that one, if not I'l go for the zonda...

Ps. Thxx for the advice

Oh yeh I've already found a very nice setup for my RGT :D

Hello...

Than post Your Set-Up for the Ruf RGT here please.

Tan we can try out Your settings. :D

possible is Your better than my !

Thank You.

So long
Werner

:ruf: RGT Has the power but doesn't hold a candle to the supreme :nissan: Skyline :gtr: The R34 can also meet over 1000bhp :rscared:

I have got to give ya my settings for this car, my r32 almost handles as sweetly as my nismo 400r this is with the spec 4 turbo

The only thing my R34 is good for is drifting, I think they remove the steering wheel when you put the spec 4 turbo in it.

I must agree though the zonda handles very sweetly with 1000+ bhp almost as good as the racecar.

I guess the Toyota GTOne Road Car is going to be pretty much the fastest road car going, though I'm guessing that's getting a bit too close to a racing car for what you after. The TVR Speed 12 is pretty fast, as are a lot of other cars like the Skylines and the Vipers.

Hey, I'd appreciate that; PM them on over when you get a chance. I'm learning to like the car; it's just not a precise thing to drive.

I just won the Nismo 400R myself. So far, all I've done is change the oil...

Lolz I also watched the movie again yesterday :D

DVD Rules :p

I Think the long version of the conversation is much better ;)

Fast and the furious was the most long winded, boringest, full of more **** than a blocked toilet movie i have ever seen. the actors were crap, the cars were wicked but the info about them was all wrong, civics and s2000's running SR20's, **** off, and the motec system exhaust, what a crock of ****, if you want good import movies go and get high perfomance imports videos 1,2,3, with real 10sec supras and real hard core drivers not stupid mother ****ers like paul walker and vin deisel(the characters not the actors), and go the Supra RZ 1081bhp, 495km/h, 9.652sec 1/4

Well if you are referring to real life street legal cars, Saleen just delivered the first road version of the S7. Ive read a lot about it, and Saleen claims it will top the McClaren. its capable of 240 mph but will be geared for 215. The funniest quote I've seen was in Automobile Magazine. In response to the fact that the S7 has no traction control or skid control, Saleen says "We have downforce, our competitors are just masking their chassis and brake problems." Pretty bold stuff...... and i want it in GT4

the vette COULD beat any car... but from computer limitations it maxes out at about 180... it only can go 0-60 in 4.9. The stats are close to the new SVT Cobra. If you want to go price wise go look at Depont Restrigy and theres a guy who got his vette to 250mph for under 300,000. The McLaren is the fastest production car that i know of... but thats over $1 million. Goes to show you its a little over priced.

Believe it or not I think it could be this :aston:... It is actually Street Legal and will do 0-60mph/0-100 kph in under 2secs :rscared:

I can find the specs and details for evidence if anyone wants proof? :gcar:
