With a hybrid car I made, I was able to do a 31.9xx on this track, I forget the last 2 digits, but it is a 31.9xx something. It has about a top speed of around 400 down the straight, In the first corner, can take it up to speeds of around 270, then through the s-turn no problem reaching about 370 to the next turn through the tunnel, (that means picking up speed from the first corner through the s -turn down the little straight till you have to turn through the tunnel) then can turn through the tunnel doing about 170+, then after the tunnel the next corner about 150-170 going through the third sector down the straight, through the tiny little s corner, slamming on the brakes for the second last tight corner, about 70- 90 then through the little s then to the finish line. I could of done better, but not by much, I only litghly nudged the wall a couple of times on that lap, and i'm sure it didn't make me lose to much speed but still slowed me down a bit.

I also have another car that i'm working on right now, well I call it a dragster, because it's a car that is really fast and can only be used for the test track. It has about 200,000+hp and after it reaches about 600-700 it pulls a wheelie then takes off to about 3000 before I hit a wall. No this is not a escudo type settings trick, I'm using a gameshark to modify all the settings, for example my down force is 9.00 and 9.50 and so on and so on. I'm trying to tune it so it's really drivable even with that kind of hp. Just so that all of you know it is very fast, handles somewhat well until it reaches about 500 , and on the test track I have to ride the wall with my back end, because it's in a power slide totaly gripping to the road, but if you can lightly steer it you can keep it pretty stable around the corner to the straight again, then once it reaches a certain speed it just wheelies then takes off. If you don't control it through the corner it will just kick out from you and send you spinning wildly. Yeah I know a lot of hp, but like I said I just wanted to make a car that is only used for that track, and has insane speeds. I was just wondering if any one has any tricks to better set up a car like that to grip even more to the road instead of riding the wall through the corner. Yes I have read lots of posts about this, but have tried many things.

I like to use a little word called "cheating" in regard to using hybrids. Don't get me wrong, if I had a Gameshark I'd be creating Hybrids left right and center, only I wouldn't use them for racing.

My best time using an untuned 094/S is around 56.xxx secs. I'm waiting on settings from another Australian member which should take me down to around 52.xxx.

Yeah that's good, but just using that car without any cheats, I've done a 50.xxx lap and my one friend pulled off a 49.xxx on the track, but not with an untuned car. Both of us changed settings like gears, downforce stuff like that but nothing else. Those times were before I started making hybrids. But now after driving some hybrids that are really fast and controllable, that f1 car seems kinda slow now even though before all this I thought it was the fastest car in the game. I don't even think I've driven a normal car in the game for a long time(way too slow now). Btw we could only pull off lap times like that because alls we did was race that track over and over again, and eventually with some practice (lots) you'll be able to keep a max speed through course, through every corner and so on. Sorry had to edit, it was with the f090/s car, the one you get at 100%

Ah. I'm sure with practice (and practice, and practice . . .) I could get down to 50.xxx and even 49.xxx. But then, perhaps you and your mate are on a completely different skill level to me.

hybird still considerd cheating..and cheating only for faggots that r gay...for me seeing people cheat r one loser that can't do **** in a game

I"ve whooped this game over twice now without codes, or hybrids. Hybriding is only "Cheating" if you use them to win races in the game.

well. total turbo you have a closed mind. everybody has their own way to have fun. car hybridings are everywhere in real life. you need to put your **** together and keep it real.

Well I can see some mixed views here, cool! Personally myself I don't cheat until i've beaten the game myself. Well I've beaten this game to many times to remember long before ever making a hybrid. This game is awsome for physics and stuff like that. I love racing games that or at least try to have good physics. But as always there come a time when you play enough that it just looses the challenge when you become better at it.Even playing with cars that are evenly matched, it's still a pretty easy game to beat. Now that I play it with faster cars, every car in the normal game just are way to slow. Nothings a challenge anymore. But with hybrids, the game keeps getting new life into it because the cars are fast, very fast if you can make a good one, and now instead of waiting for the race to finish because it takes forever on some of them, I'm trying to stay on the edge of my seat because some of the cars i've made are so fast that it actually feels like i'm in the car sometimes.I almost feel the g-forces. I race over and over with my friends and the action is really intense. Personally myself I think they should of put very fast cars in this game ( the f1 cars are actually pretty slow for what the game could do) The only reason why I think they didn't was or is depending on how fast the car is, the camera can't keep up to the cars sometimes. Not only that, I don't know if anyone else has had this happen, but when your racing very fast with hybrids, every one in a while it's like you encounter very rough draft possibly from a couple laps back that just seems to slap you into the wall, or sometimes make it hard to drive. This is with the boost off. Try this, with boost on full, race to cars that are not identical. Put well whatever race you want, I would use the test track if you have some fast hybrids. Let on car take of for at least 5 laps. Now let the second car go, Your first car for example, lets say has a high speed of 400, your second car has a high speed of 300, watch what happens. I was cruising at 400+ and my friend blew by me only going 350, and leaving me in the dust.btw this has nothing to do with the invisible draft that slamms you into a wall every once in a while. A fyi I always race with boost off.
