x2010 s.vettel has less hp then the prototype or colored x2010,
only ~50hp difference if i remember right.

but that doesnt matter, all 3 are nearly equal if you compare
the lap times against ech other

hmmm, dunno if mygranturismo is wrong about it, but my proto and the colored has 1556hp,
only the s.vettel a bit less with 1509 (all 3 stock with 0 miles) ...

Mine are all exactly the same: all 1557bhp... Colored, Carbon and S.Vettel. All between 1000-1500 km with frequent oil changes.

But to be frank... with the power and speeds we get with any X1, discussions about the differences are academic more than anything...

yes, but crash is right about it, the proto has 1557, the colored has 1509,
but you can change oil on that one so it goes up to 1557 too ...

s.vettel has only 1509, but after engine break-in it has 1557 too, so lets say
they're all the same, the only big difference is that you cant change gears
on the s.vettel one ...

Actually, the S.Vettel is the fastest. It is the aerodynamics that is different, not the engine. It is like the RM version of the normal colored X2010.

They all have 1557 HP fully broken in with good oil and all weigh 545 KG

None will go faster than 311-312mph.

Fastest depends on your definition of fastest. Fastest in a straight line? The S. Vettel is geared slightly longer then the other two. While the other two are faster around a circuit because of their tunable transmissions.

However, they're all the same outside of the tunable Transmission. Which only appears on the Colored ones and the Prototype.

None will go faster than 311-312mph.

I dont use MPH but I know for a fact that when drafting the S . Vettel is able to go 7km/hr faster because it doesnt hit the rev limiter at 500 like the other two do.

312 mph = 502.115328 kph

That's the fastest I've gone in all three of them. At that point it redlines and drops a bit. This is with transmissions set all the way open, downforce at a minimum, and drafting partners.

Well you are obviously wrong because I hit 507 while drafting in my S. Vettel and only 500 in the others, both off the rev limiter.

and by google calculator that is 507 (kilometers / hr) = 315.035194 mph

Okay. Well, I'm not wrong because--like I said--that speed is the fastest I've gone in all three. It's also the fastest speed any of the people I regularly race with have gone as well. If you've gone faster, great! I'd love for you to share proof (if you can) and tell us all exactly how you managed to go so much faster. 👍

If you really want me to Ill try take a picture with me at 507 but its really tough because as soon as it hits it it drops back down to 490 something. Just look at the transmission settings "top speed" and you will see the S. Vet can go 7km/hr faster while drafting.

S Vettel. Top Speed: 507 km/hr. 7th Gear Ratio: 1.158
Proto. Top Speed: 500 km/hr. 7th Gear Ratio: 1.175


The S. Vettel has a higher 7th gear even which proves it can go faster.

Well, they are quicker. But they also happen to be faster as well. With max downforce how fast can the S. Vettel take the long straight at the Nurburgring? Around 406kmh, the Proto/Colored can do it upwards of 415kmh. It's not much, but it is "faster." Even though the lap time difference would only be a few tenths of a second. Maybe a second or two depending on the track. Overall, the Colored/Proto is more suited for circuit racing while the Vettel is suited for Oval/long straight type of racing.

You're 100% correct. The usage of fast vs quick is just a little pet peeve of mine (and maybe some other racing fans). 👍
