Faulty hard disk install

Hi all,

My nephew had GT5 at Christmas and used the 'install to hard disk' option to speed-up loading times. Unfortunately the game disk was faulty (scratched) and the installation hung. The game disk has subsequently been replaced but the installation process now keeps hanging at '1 second remaining'. Any suggestions?
 
How long have you left it for?

I seem to remember that mine stayed at 1sec for a long time when I installed it.

It will take up to 50 minutes in total to install and the time remaining accuracy is laughable.

It would probably be a good idea to delete the the existing install from the XMB menu Game Data Utility (not the Save Data Utility) and do a fresh install and update download.
