I bought this car for the German Touring event. I just wanted to share that it is probably the best handling car I have driven yet. After tuning it, I only went down 2 seconds on average per track. I usually go down at least 7 seconds. Not much needed to be adjusted, because it drives fabulously.

I haven't bought the Lexus concept yet that everyone seems to get for this event, but I bet this one drives better.

It has 300 less hp than my minolta, but I'm going to try some races I couldn't win with the minolta, in this car, just for giggles.
 
People go for the Lexus simply because its in the P dealership all the time. Its not even a real DTM car, so why it is allowed, I don't know. Plus it can also be used in the Super GT race, and can be heavily modified. But my favorite DTM car is the CLK touring or the M3 GTR.
 
The M3 and the CLK are both better (read: faster) I believe, but with the way the TT handles I also prefer it over those 2. It's a bit underpowered for Bob unless you put a stage 3 engine upgrade in it though.

M3 GTR isn't a real DTM car either. The Lexus is at least sort of a prototype for DTM-type racing.
 
The M3 GTR is the fastest "DTM cup" car. If you drive it, it feels like driving on rails, that amount of grip is awesome.

Example on my test track (Tsukuba):

- drove the Zonda race car, stock 715 HP, got a laptime about 00:53:600

- change car to my M3 GTR race car, engine mod +1 istalled 530 HP, smoked my Zonda time with a 00:53:370

I didn´t push the cars to their limit, but the GTR is faster.

Even in b-spec, my bobs smoke the ai in that car, having no problems.

I won the German touring event first with the CLK, then brought the Lexus. The Lexus felt sluggish and slow by comparison, then I saw it was 350kg heavier! Havent got hold of the GTR yet though
 
The Audi is a good car.

Even bob can win the DTM events with it as standard; although I had to shorten the gears a little for him to win the cape ring event though.
