yeah i know!!!!
ppl have aske about fav series b4!!!

it seems to me that all the hype atm is about the pro pd cup series. is this every1s fav series or is there another reason it gets more writeups than any other race/sreies in the whole game?

The PD Cup series seems to be the most challenging race series in GT3. IMO, I also think so because of the restrictions and the strategies that a racer has to think about. My vote would be the PD Cup series 👍

Actually, Ving, I don't think anyone has!

I did enjoy the PD series - I ran an NSX Type S Zero (something like that, anyway) and although I ran through 10-0 the car was really enjoyable to drive.

I quite enjoyed the Roadster Cup - I ran a slightly warmed over RUF 3400 which I enjoyed driving.

All this talk about GT4 is bringing my taste for GT3 back - I might go back and run some of these series in the poorest spec car I can.

My vote would have to be the TVR Challenge one...:) Just a shame I just a disgusting colour for my Speed 6. :yuck:

I'll race the PD Cup in a couple of days... got the testing done, tyre choice, etc.

My favourite series so far has been the German Championship.

Well, I enjoyed the All-Japan Pro the most so far. The racing was good and tight using a stock Viper Oreca against the usual JGTC crowd, and for once they didn't drive like bulls in a china shop. This was the best combination of fun factors for me.

The PD Cup was a lot of fun, too, though.

id have to go with the vitz pro....even tho i hated racing it, it seemed to have the best competition, i got taken to the last race with a 6 point lead.

i have to go with formula gt championship...then the Pro Dream Car Championship...btw, what does IMO mean?

IMO- In My Opinion

Ill pick the Vitz challenge as the most challenging but my fave is the Dream car cup in AM, only 7 races long, good prize money, and if done in an F1 car win it in about 30-45 mins and just sell the prize car afterwards (185,000 credits i think)

I would imagine the pro PD cup would have been harder in any car other than a R390 Road Car. I should go back and try it with something less powerful. My favorite was the Formula GT, for it's toughness and close finishes.

The F1 Championship is boring me senseless. I've won all but 1 race by at least 1 lap. Anyway, i had fun in the Pro All Japan race.;)

With the F1 series, you'd better have either a hybrid or a sweet setup. I raced it before my memory card corrupted ( :banghead: ) and from Laguna onwards the best position I got was 2nd, by a fair margin. I came last at R246!

But now I know about setup. ;)

I thought the only challenge at the PD Cup was to find a car slow enough to make it challenging but quick enough to win the thing. I think it is actually quite an easy and boring series.

Yes I used the GT One road car first. I have also used a Speed 12 and will come back to the pack the next time I run it in a Mazda.

My favorite series / race is the Miata endurance. And yes I am serious.

I believe you. It was definitely the most enjoyable race of the first half of my game. The only reason I haven't run it multiple times is that I'm trying to minimize repeats until I get 100%.

I didn't even set up my 001 Sandstorm, and I won too by about a lap each time. :)

Aaaaanyway, it's a bit difficult this time around but currently it would have to be.
Knocking off the Amateur GT allstars, with a Griffith 500 with about 450bhp. Then the Amateur All Japan GT series with my 480bhp Z06 (although the Bhp inflated mid season).

Pro hasn't given me much to work with, but i've had some fun races with the pro ff and fr as well. Although the GT40 kicked me in the face in pro mr.

Not quite my fav series, but as far as real surprises go, the Pro Yaris series has to take the biscuit...

With hard tyres on, I won the first race, but all 6 cars finished within 10 seconds of each other, and I could not put a foot wrong for 10 laps at Laguna Seca, and still only won by virtue of not having to pit!

For the sheer closeness of racing, it has to rank as a good series!
