Faviroute / Best Rally Event.

What is your Faviroute or What do you think is the best event on the WRC calendar.


For me its Japan, narrow, muddy and fast, really good to watch.

Used to be the Safari Rally(africa) for me.It's a shame it's never going to happen anymore.

I voted Finland. It is imho the equivalent of Spa in F1, not the most technical but for sure the most spectacular.
Catalunya would be my 2nd choice. I prefer dirt stages over asphalt ones but I'm still scared like hell when I see Loeb in the Turini.

Wales please. Bad weather, lot's of mud. Corsica comes in second place and japan on third place. But pleace bring back the Safari Rally. That was realy good fun to watch.

I'm a little confused by your second sentence about Catalunya being your second favorite and then you go on to mention the Turini? The Col de Turini is a stage on the Monte Carlo rally, not the Catalunya. Apologies if you are aware of this, but its not how your second sentence reads to me. BTW the Monte would be my second.

First, thank you for the Turini link Scaff.

Just to clear the confusion I prefer fast dirt stages, like Finland, but I can appreciate a spectacular run on asphalt like the one in Col de Turini.

To make an analogy: Being born in belgium, I prefer Belgian Trappist beers, but I wouldn't say "No" if you offer me a well brewed Bitter or Pale Ale.

And is a good mix of high and low speeds.

I like watching Monte Carlo Rally, especially when they race at night through the those tunnels in the mountains.
