I can't beleive this hasn't been done yet. Which country produces the best or your favorite cars, in your opinion?

Geramny is my favorite automaking country. Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi. 'nuff said.

Sweeden is also one of my favorites. Volvo, Saab, and Koenigegg.

USA and japan are lower on my list. There are only a couple American cars I like and a couple Japanese cars.

I like Japan a lot,

They have the best balance on everything, and very reliable too.

I also like German and Korean cars too.

And if the Detroit guys don't improve with their cars they will still remain at the bottom of my list.

Most Euro-cars (like Italy, GBR, Sweden, France) are a little too much for me.

Aussie cars are alright.

being the biased one-eyed person that i am, i would definately say that australian cars are the best. they are powerful yet practical and suit the typical aussie family. if i could get any car, it would be australian.

sorry for my biased one-eyed politically incorrect statement

That's because it's been done many times. Duh. Try searching the subject lines for "country" or "favorite"...

Sweden not Sweeden. It's Great Britain, not Great Britan.

England has that adjective in its name for a reason. Great Britain.

uhh... did you even search? :dunce: The only ones related to countries are one for which is your favorite county to buy cars in GT3 and a stupid poll that it what is your favorite country, of the choices, none of them don't even produce cars, AFAIK. There is also a poll for japanese vs. american. Also, there is a favorite car manufacturer. discussion.

Yes, I searched:

Those two are just what I got by searching titles only. If you search post bodies you come up with more.

Whatever. The worst car I've ever owned in terms of quality and reliability was a Toyota. How do your parents know American cars have terrible quality if they've never owned one?

Other people in my family, like relatives, have owned them, and some still do, and they all say they are terrible. When they grew up their parents owned American cars and they were poor vehicles.

I prefer, anything but american cars......Always been like that for me.

I think that japan makes the best cars.although i really like german cars too, japanese manufacturers have such a wide variety of different cars for everyone in the world.

I don't really put very much value on a car's "nationality".

That said, since the question was worded "What is your favorite automaking country?", I'll root for the home team and say Canada. Many cars are made in Canada, such as:

- Chrysler 300
- Dodge Magnum
- Chrysler Town & Country
- Dodge Grand Caravan
- Chrysler Pacifica
- Ford Crown Victoria
- Mercury Grand Marquis
- Mercury Marauder
- Ford Freestar
- Mercury Monterey
- Chevrolet Impala
- Chevrolet Monte Carlo
- Buick Regal
- Buick Century
- Buick LaCrosse/Allure
- Pontiac Grand Prix
- Chevrolet Silverado
- GMC Sierra
- Honda Civic
- Honda Pilot
- Honda Odyssey
- Acura 1.7EL
- Acura MDX
- Toyota Corolla
- Toyota Matrix
- Lexus RX330 (I think...)
- Chevrolet Equinox
- Chevrolet Tracker
- Suzuki Vitara
- Suzuki Grand Vitara (I think...)

:D

I like old American cars. New American cars are trying to be something they're not...with a few exceptions.

Ok, I guess I can say i like American cars aswell as everything else, I forgot about a few great ones like the viper....

#01: Japan (Skyline, RX-7, GTO, Supra, EVO, WRX, 300zx etc)
#02: Italy (F50, F40, Zonda, Diablo, Countach, Gallardo etc)
#03: Australia (Falcon, Falcon, Falcon, Falcon, Falcon etc)
