What's your favorite car in the Dream Pack?

Also, leave in the comments your least favorite or any car that you're not impressed with.

It's hard for me to choose because I'm loving most of them so much and the laser scanned version of Nordschliefe.

I especially am enjoying the McLarens, the Mercedes Sauber C9 and the 190E, and I'm enjoying the Corvette and Alfa 4C much more than I expected.

The only car I'm not completely enjoying is the GT-R but I don't like it in any other sims either so I'm not surprised.

Guess if I had to choose I'd go with the McLaren P1. It's almost too fast. The Sauber C9 and F1 GTR are very close to my favorites though. So hard to pick.

Overall I'd rate this DLC a 10 out of 10 though. I can't believe I only had to pay $10 for it. I would've paid $30.

I'm very impressed with how similar the GT6 version of the ring is to it though. Not a single bump or turn seems different.

I've only driven the Alfa GTA, 190 Evo and the GTR so far and IMO they are all brilliant. Of course I've only driven them on the Nordschleife so that might twist my opinion a bit:sly:. The GTA is simply brilliant, beautiful sound, and carries a nice slip angle through the corners. You can feel the front end dive under hard braking and a tap of the brakes entering a turn brings the back end around in a nice, controlled fashion. I've heard some complaints about the GTR but I love it. Tons of grip, lots of torque, fairly easy to drive but still lively on the edge.

All of them... But im not a big fan of the m235i. Still prefer the E92. But Im on the P1 bandwagon at the moment. Just a blast to drive! But the funny thing is, I hated it before when it first came out, because I like ferrari a lot and still belive that the Laferrari is faster, but now I understand why people love the P1.

Is it me, or is the FFB really done well on the GTA. its so easy putting the rear end out, so rewarding, I feel all the bumps. Its quite something.

The two older Alfa followed by the Mercedes.
I like the Bmw but wish it came with a 4 or 5 speed manual. With the power band that engine has an 8-speed is unnecessary imo. The P1 got one lap at Magione and I'm finished with it.

Yep. I only drove it at Nords and never even needed the 7th gear. :P

I may be a bit biased since I haven't spent equal time in all the cars, but the P1 is the most fun to drive for me. I spent a little over 2 hours trying to get a clean, fast time on the 'Ring with it and I got very fond of it. M235i would be second.

Least favorite car?... uhm, maybe the C9 and only because I haven't figured out how to stop it from bouncing off the track yet. I'm working on it though...

I've only driven the P1 thus far, in Touristfahrten fashion, but it's easily stolen my heart.

Maybe a different car will steal it back, maybe I won't even give them the chance. All I know is I'm in love with it.

I love them all but i was the most impressed with the C9. What a beast and this with a clutch and H shifter as standard.
Least in love with the GTR due to it's nervousness and i found the 4C a bit too sluggish, would have imagined it lighter.

Only driven the C9, C7R and Mclaren F1 yet. The C7R is really neat around the Nord. It was my first go round on the Nord but I was amazed to see a guy keeping right on my tail with me in the C9 and him in the P1, is that thing really that fast in real life?

The 4c is a great street car, but the gearing sucks a bit for the ring imo, the P1 is wicked fun and fairly easy to drive, the F1 gtr is crazy on 4 wheels, the GT3 GTR is a great fun car, but to me the most balanced car of the group is the C7R, not much understeer when pushed, controllable oversteer, and fast as heck. The BMW is junk to me understeers like a fat pig, oversteers at any lift off or giving any throttle, the Benz DTM is a different beast, I was really prone to understeer, but it is probably the nature of the beast.

They all have their place, most of them are great cars, some will not get driven much.

I have only driven a few of them extensively and boy, have they gotten the physics down. After doing 5 or 6 laps of the nurb in the P1 I switched over to the F1 GTR, holy hell those cars are exact opposites of each other. P1 grips like a GT2 car and you can feel all the electronics keeping you on the road. The F1 GTR feels so much more mechanical and raw, you really have to drive it. Always on a knife's edge.

F1 GTR has it for me. I think the Corvette has too much grip, feels to easy to drive fast. Not saying its not realistic but for me that makes it less exciting to drive. The GTR GT3 is really, really fast compared to the other GT3 cars, and I like the handling, you just have to be patient applying the throttle. P1 is crazy fast. I actually like the BMW as a basic track car. The Mercedes is a really fun car too. The F1 GTR though just has it all, great handling, awesome noise, sexy looks. Its a man's car.

Unfortunately life has gotten in the way of me spending any more than about an hour with the dream pack so I haven't had a chance to try out everything or give anything a good workout but that's my impression so far.

Really? First one to vote for Alfa Romeo 155 Ti V6 ‘93? Growing up this car was one of the most iconic touring car in the world. And it drives like a treat in AC. I love every car to be honest. All have their own distinctive characteristics which makes this DLC worth the wait. Least favourite Nissan GT-R Nismo 2014 GT3 simply because it's RWD which I disliked even in GT series.

Wish we'll get Nissan GT-R R35 Touring Car for track racing and even GTR 32 for racing/drifiting.

Update
Overall I'd rate this DLC a 10 out of 10 though. I can't believe I only had to pay $10 for it. I would've paid $30.

If they included another track as part of this DLC they could have easily charge $30 and justifiable which I'll be very happy to pay for it as well.

Pity you can't vote for more than one car ,

C9 as it is a absolute beast and the noise it makes

Like the GTR a lot , but does it like to wag it's tail under braking :nervous:

P1 yes its very very fast for a roadcar but somehow seems a bit almost refined .

I'm really liking the DTM cars, the Mercedes 190E Evo II especially. I love that the manufactures went just insane making these high revving engines.
It feels sooo satisfying to row through the gears while revving the piss out of these things!

I haven't driven them all yet, but so far the 4C is the biggest let down. The tranny and low RPM limit makes it feel like its really sluggish. On paper this car should be right up my alley but it just doesn't feel all that sporty or lightweight so it doesn't interest me much.

For those saying they'd happily pay more, next time you might want to wait for the pre-purchase sale to go away if you really wanted to give more. I felt it was worth more so I waited.

I wonder if it would be Kunos fault in portraying the car wrong, because in all the real life footage i've seen it gave the reviewers a figurative boner.

Yeah or it could be me, I always seem to dislike cars that don't rev high, also the 4C at redline just sounds a bit dead and the sound at redline always seems to effect how much I enjoy a car. I'm gonna give it another shake and see if grows on me.

Same plan here :D

Ok, I revisited the Alfa 4C and the reviews of it and I've come away with a few tid bits.

The gearing is not optimal from 2nd to 3rd. and the top end is not where the power is at (so short shift a bit I guess).

One of the reviews did mention that the redline was hard to hear and he hit the rev limiter with out really noticing it. I get the same impression when I drive it. He also noted the large gap from 2nd to 3rd. And that the shifts aren't fast until you are at full throttle, I think this might not be working in game like it does in real life. I have noticed however that when i shift right before redline the shifts seems slower than if I had shifted earlier, I could be imagining it though.

But I think Kunos has likely captured the car pretty well.

I took it to a shorter track where it was more at home and It felt better than the last time I used it. Although I still want to try to dial out some of the understeer. I'd like it to be a bit more tossable (if thats a word).

I think that is what most were expecting, a lightweight 'Elise' you can throw into the corners followed by controlling slides with a grin on your face.
I noticed i had TC and ABS on full with this car :dunce:, don't know how that happened as i always use factory settings, but i turned everything off apart from ABS, Switched the tyres from semi slicks to street, lowered tyre pressures and played around with the camber a bit, and it became better.

Better but not the fantasy we had still. I do agree that Kunos probably got it right, watched the video review from Chris Harris and although he was able to slide it around better, everything else seemed spot on.

Haven't driven them all but so far I'm liking the Nissan GTR, force feedback feels great on it. The C7R like someone else mentioned feels like it's glued to the road, you want your back end to kick out every now and then to remind you it can all go wrong at any moment.

I'm really surprised the GTA is so popular. Can't say I'm a fan of it. Little too much understeer for my taste and the brake aren't the best either

I had to redo the challenge at Monza '66 like 20 times before i managed to finish in the top 3.
I agree it's a charming little car, but bloody difficult to keep it on the road.

Was it on alien?

I like the GTA but it's far from my favorite in the pack that's all. I absolutely love the McLaren F1 GTR and P1, and the Merc C9 the most. They are so fun to drive.
