Just wondering if you guys had seen any commercials that made you laugh so much that you don't mind seeing them every once and awhile.

I like that Chevy commercial with the two guys driving to work where one is trying to drink and the driver keeps slaming the brakes so he can't get a solid sip. While claiming he isn't doing anything.

I like the Heikien commercial where the date takes the last of his beer and he asks for the check.

I have others, but I will post them as I remember. :D

That one where the guy is paying for a bunch of electronics at Best Buy or Circuit City, and the cashier says "sombody's kids are going to have a very happy Christmas..." and they guy's like "Oh yeah! Kids... hehehe" and runs back into the store.

And there's another one where this guys dog kicks him out of the bed and then comes to bother him on the couch. I have no idea what the ad is for, though.

Some of the Geico commercials. Especially the one with the action figures on a shelf in a kid's room.

I've taken to saying "Dude, you are freaking me out" a lot lately...

VW

Reverb! And "Will it love you for years to come?"

Also that one where the guy licks the door handle so nobody else will drive it. Funny.

I like that Chevy commercial, too. My other favorites are the new Toys R Us commercials where Geoffrey is calling other toys stores and when they say they don't have a certain toy, he laughs hysterically and says, "We do!!" The other one is the Joe Boxer commercials for KMart with that guy doing silly dances in his boxers. Doesn't take much to entertain me :)

My all time favorite is the Sega commercial for Shenmue. The guy is saying Nozomi's name in his sleep while they show footage of the game and then his wife wakes up in bed and yells "Who is Nozomi?!" Then they do the SEGA! yell thing at the end.

The dodge commercial where 2 guys in a muscle car (forget the specific make/model) pull up next to a dodge pickup towing a charger. The 2 guys ask the truck driver "does that have a hemi" and he says "yea" then they h00t and take off laughing, only to be passed by the truck towing the charger. they then stop next to the truck again with jaws droped and looking totally baffled. the truck driver then says "oh you meant the charger, yea that has a hemi too!". hahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa

I like the Home Depot commercial where you see Santa Clause dropping through the fireplace but he he only gets in his legs, and crack the walls and ceiling because of the pressure he's putting on them.

There's a great ad in the UK for Vodafone. The visuals are all of distracted people, like an Italian Traffic cop just standing there doing nothing, and a dental nurse with stuff in the patient's mouth. The line of the ad is "Thinking of witty responses to your mates' text messages can take your mind off what you're doing".

But then there's a builder, and he's shovelling sand into a cement mixer. A woman's walking along the street as he picks up a shovelful of sand, and because he's distracted, as he throws the sand into the cement mixer, he misses, and catches the woman full in the face with this load of flying sand.

It's so stark, there's no way it could have been faked, and it even looks as if the woman was not expecting it. It just cracks me up every time I see it.

the "Wow" Satellite TV ads are pretty good... my favorite is the one where this woman is waiting for the bus, reading a newspaper. When she sees the ad for the Satellite company, she says "wow!" at the same time a guy in a yellow 'Vette stops by... like any self respecting Corvette owner with the TP syndrom, the guy thinks she's looking at him, so he revs his engine and opens up his door, thinking the women will get in the car...

just as shoves the door open, a bus comes by and completely rips off the 'Vette's door!

My fav is the Geico insurance one with the 2 squirrels purposly making cars swerve around them on the road and crash and then the squirrels start to laugh and high-5 eachother.

Hillarious.

So where are you Rumple? Still in hiding? I see you keep popping up here and there.

I just thought of another one. The direct TV commerical with the two football players on the buyers shoulders, after asking the direct tv guy whether he wanted a soda, saying to either throw the soda can or run it down the middle through the open lane.

I have been able to sneak away from my new home and fly home for christmas to be with my family. I am a little un-easy being home but I feel it is something I should do. Also I was really bored at my new home, all there is is a beach and trees all around, so it gets really boring. I think I will be here in Canada until about the 1st of January, then I will return to my new home. :) I'm glad I am here now though because I finally get to drivemy cars again. I could not take my viper with me when I moved so it has been parked for a whilenow. Only thing is that there is about a foot of snow here  and it is really hard on my car going down the gravel road to get to the paved highway.

I like the John Smiths Beer commercial.

The ad campaign slogan thingy is "the no nonsense beer" basically they show a diving competition and it's all serious with people pulling off these amazing dives then along comes this fat guy and does a running bomb, splashes all the judges, all the crowd goes mental and the judges give him perfect scores.

They do these funniest commercial programs every so often in the US and European ads show up. I have to say they are funnier, and definitely more risque. Americans are such tight-asses.

Although it's not a commercial, it's an ad (Slip states the bleeding obvious) this made me giggle. It's a French ad for a ..... well i'm sure you can guess. But yep the Europeans are definitly more risque!

There is one add here in Australia about XXXX bear. It is funny as hell. All XXXX adds are really. So are all the Bundy Rum ads.

Nearly all the bear ads (except for Victoria Bitters advertisments - they just suck) are funny here in oz.

I hate that fat guy!

Especially the one when he is trying to do the football skills and he just hoofs the ball into somebodys garden.

[...eagerly awaiting the Super Bowl for the ads...]

The Cheese Board ads are a hoot. The one with the two presidential candidates (one of which publicly claimed he didn't like cheese, which threw the election) is one of my all time favorites.

"I am not a doofus!"

I have to agree with Rumple, the Geico ad with the squirrels is quite funny.

Does anyone remember that commercial with the guy interviewing for a job at the Dumass (Doo mas) Corporation but he keeps calling it Dumb-ass? Pretty funny.

No, but that fella in Shawshank Redemption called Alexander Dumas that.

What was the product for?

I think it was car insurance. They had a series of ads where the theme was, "that was really stupid... don't be as stupid when choosing car insurance." Maybe it was a local commercial.

Gotta be Geico.

The Conseco ads were funny; the old man reincarnating as a organ-grinder monkey was a hoot.

They also had the dead guy sitting at his desk; his phone was permanently stuck to his ear...and his wife came in after hours to change his clothes

The tag line for those two was "How are you going to pay for retirement?"

Classics...but as they announced Chapter 11 just last night, we are likely never to see them again.
