Aside from racing, have you ever done anything different but fun?

Last night me and 5 IRL friends got in a lounge and played Cops & Robbers and my god was it fun. We played for about 5 hours and it still didn't feel stale, from what I understand this isn't new and open lobby rooms like this are hosted often...I'll definently have to have a look. 👍

So, how about you? what's the best thing/favorite thing you do online on GT5?

i had fun the other day going in all the tgtt rooms and setting silly lap times in my x2011 as quick as i could befor being kicked.....

ok

The internet was only made for one reason, adult "entertainment" lol

Edit: seems I skipped over the online "on gt" part.

Going into a lounge with my 2 closest friends, one would pick a random car from recommended, another would pick a car, turn all aids off apart from ABS and stick some Racing Softs on and race! We'd do this for hours and get so competitive that we'd sometimes have to redo races.

Also doing "Top Gear" challenges every few weeks.

Yeah, I go into rooms and look at headlights and mufflers. ;)

When I want a GT5 pick me up, Dirty NASCAR. I love to crash cars that I don't appreciate.

But I also have done Photo Shoots, Shuffle Race, Cops and whatever, Clean Racing XXXpp, Cruise and Do Anything rooms.

Next time any of you are in a room run by a complete Noob, help him get better at what he's doing. Send him a FR and offer to teach him more than he knows. Then direct him here to GTPlanet.

Been thinking of crashing some drag/JDM () parties.

Sounds like a fun idea, pop in with a big muscle car or superb Euro car and beat the 🤬 out of their riceballs.

U have to say either just cruising or 500pp racing on the ring. Sometimes also 600pp GT500 racing, as it often gets pretty close. I've had some 4 way battles around the whole ring (24h version), quite rewarding when its clean ;)

I like finding rooms that are racing for real and have clean racers so I can earn some cash and race against real people, just a load of fun.

Sometimes its good to have a lap time war. :)

Jeez the only exciting thing I've read so far is X2011. lol

Then you have the attention span of a goldfish. XD
I just like to cruise around in 'COP 75 MPH NO BS LOL' rooms, just to hear all the speeders woosh by me.

Doing standing burnouts in my Mustang on TGTT.

Trackdays.

spent the afternoon doing donuts on the runway on tgtt in an r34......

Drifting and Trackdays on the Ring

Using odd cars like Plymouth Superbird and still be among top finishers on Nordschleife.

Trolling with a tank car in a drift room. ;)

I just like cruising and/or roleplaying with people I know. Just driving around in normal cars, nothing too extravagant or amazing. It's quite fun, actually, I just like playing like it's real life, with speed limits, cops, civilians, and other people that have special roles. Problem is, unless I make it a lounge, some clueless idiot always comes in and starts racing in a fully tuned race car.

hi guys somtimes in my pit we like todo a team death race you just set a recommended car from the list that allows 2 colour choices then make half the players pick a red car and the others a blue car start the race and do any dirty tricks you know to help your team m8s get as many of the top spots as possible :) one of my teams little tricks is toget the guy near the back of the grid to do 180 off the line and act as a blocker/wrecker after a few laps on a tight twisty track it gets pretty messy lol

Finding people that say drag racing is easy then destroying them :sly:

Joining a casual drift session on Tsukuba, rocking up with the driftbus

Shuffle races and karting.

In a shuffle race, it's just a lot of handbrake drifting FFs against hordes of other dirty drivers. Good fun—especially when there are a lot of participants. You get to try new cars, too. And karting... online is the only place you can get competitive karting. It's damn fun. Plus, everyone is equal, so skill really shows. Karting is basically my favorite feature in GT5. Too bad karting rooms online are a bit scarce.
