FB linking gone

Hope the link is ok. Not sure why it upsets me at all. I never cared for the idea and objectives of Facebook to begin with. But now I have family and friends on there (some who also play this game and others I play) and being able to share videos and screenshots was kind of a cool thing. I didn't notice until I finally won sport race and went to share and found no FB option. My avatar had also changed without my doing. This is crappy.

There was a notification on PS4 recently that link has been removed, doesn't say why. This applies to PS4 generally and not just GT Sport I think.

It's a Sony/PlayStation thing, they announced it a couple weeks ago: https://support.playstation.com/s/article/Removal-of-Facebook-Integration-from-PS4?language=en_US

A couple days later Sony also said that they hope they could link with Facebook again soon, so there's still hope for you.
 
Hm I did notice it sometimes didn’t work to post stuff to Facebook, guess there were issues already before they removed the option... now I just export to usb and post via my ipad :)
 
It's inconvenient and my profile picture changed as well. I had a dummy facebook account to easily transfer screenshots. Facebook resampled them to 2560x1440 jpeg so no big loss. USB stick to get the original 4K png.

At least you tube still works, it takes forever to copy videos to usb stick.
