Hi GT community,

I love GT7, but small friend groups face a real problem: private lobbies are empty with only 2–4 players, and we can’t add AI or Sophy. On tracks like Spa, Suzuka, and Monza, this makes races feel lifeless.

I propose:
Allow Sophy or AI bots in private lobbies (max 4–6)

Keep BoP so different cars are fair but unique
Start with Gr.3 and Gr.1 classes for strategy and challenge

This would make private races much more fun and realistic, even for small groups.

Who else wants to see this added? Let’s show Polyphony that small friend groups need full tactical racing!

Godspeed to you all.

Sound good as filler for races when only one or two will stick around in your lobby.
All would be needed is for the programming to recognize the few human players and add AI drivers to fill out the grid. In settings of lobby there could be a box with toggle switch to "fill remaining grid with AI".
Great idea @Jacqgosto

I would also welcome that. I lot other racing games have such a feature and maybe if GT had it, I would play it in multiplayer. From time to time I play Wreckfest 2 online and there bots are possible in lobby races. This makes the races with only are few players in it more interesting.

IMHO the meeting places are an early version of this, since they exist within the single player component of the game.

PD has done this in the past. Sport Mode appeared as quick races in GT6 (I can't remember the exact name)

I've been praying and sporadically begging for this feature over the years... For an older gamer like myself, this would be a godsend. I have 1 or 2 friends who share a busy schedule like myself, we could hop into a match and fill it with Sophy bots.
