Yay for first post. Well a friend of mine have been tossing this idea around since November. Want to see what kind of support we get before we decide if its worth setting up. For those that dont know Group A was a class during the touring car racing of the 80's and early 90's. I guess the best way to describe Group A simple is a modified touring car. There were a strict set of limitations, and obviously some of these limitation would be hard to set in the game save for a few such as power and weight. Granted we dont have every car that participated during the Group A era such as the Sierra Cosworths, and a Alfa Romeos. Not sure if the exact ones are in the game or not. Group A is one of my favorite events mainly because of how competitive it was. Basically what this comes down to is how many would be interested in racing the event?

As far as vehicles that can be used so far to keep this as period correct as possible only allowing vehicles from 1982-1991. This is only limited to the Generation of the car. For example R32 GT-R's were made from 89-94 so you can still use a 94 Skyline if you choose. However because FD's were made in 92 it cannot be used. Before anyone ask no you cannot use the Calsonic R32 Grp A car. To make it more competitive and keep a crap ton of people from using it, you will have to set up the suspension yourself. Of course ill disclose more details (such as limitations to vehicles and restrictions) if there is a lot of interest in this.
