Feeling Awkward?!?!?!

I was just wondering...
Does anyone out there think I'd even qualify for an award nomination. I know I'm fairly new to the GTP and I know that most of everyone doesn't know me, but I'm giving it my best shot. :)

Just give me some thoughts on what I can do to help everyone out in the future. Maybe I'll get a nomination next year.
Who knows, wish me luck.
 
be nice to people, help them out, write detailed descriptions, dont have a bad attitude, dont scam, etc.

Stop caring if you get nominated. Pandering like this will not make it happen. In fact, next time awards come around, I'm going to dig up this thread and go public.
 
how nice of you. I think i'll dig up this thread if milefile gets nominated. Its definately not gonna be for being kind.
 
I think that milefile is right, in that your motivation for doing something should not be "so you can get nominated for something."

As far as milefile himself though, I think there's something to be said by the fact that he is the kind of person who collects dirt on people and stores it away for rough times. Perhaps not the most trustable fellow.

My problem is that the guy in the cubicle next to me has put a toy tank on the wall separating us. Now every time I look to my left there is a small, green tank sitting there.
 
Wow man, I feel for you, job problems are bad for moral. Especially if they're war toys. Just take it easy man, you'll get back at him for it, no problem. With a mind that can think up of half of this stuff, you should be able to think of a great way to get revenge on your neighbor. :)
 
And thank you to Ethix and LanEvo for posting, I will indeed try much harder to be noticed around GTP now.

is it important to urself if u get nominated,
there are so many people in this forum and i'm sure everyone would want to be nominated for something or other, its like wanting your favorite exotic car that u know you could never afford so u just forget about it like you should just forget about this...

I did..but I've posted in a lot of different threads...I definitely don't remember all of them.
 
No offense Prime, but I have been wanting to be recognized for over a year, I have been kinda waitn for this event. :)
