I thought I'd see how GTP compares the two newest Grand Prix winners, Jenson Button and Felipe Massa.

Massa has taken less races than Button to get the win (Almost half infact) but to be fair, Button has not had the best of cars. Massa started in 2002, Button 2000, Button has amased more points in total than Massa (More than double) but then again comes the less races part.

These two I believe are so evenly matched I can't decide, what do you think?

I WOULD SAY Button MUCH BETTER THAN Massa,EVERYONE JOIN FERRARI USUALLY IMPROVE A LOT(THE CAR AND EVERYTHING).LIKE Barrichello,AFTER HE LEAVE FERRARI,I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM AT THE PODIUM...;)

A few months ago I would have said Button, but in the last 4 or 5 races he’s really stepped up his game, and is really smoothing out his mistakes.

Remember, also, that Massa did not race in 2003, so in effect this is only his 4th season racing in F1, and it is the first time he’s ever had a strong team mate, a strong car, and a strong team.

To be honest, I expected it to be a season full of moments like he had in Bahrain and Hungary – however he’s really finding his groove.

Button should have won in 2004. He has no one to blame but himself for not getting a win in 2004. He had the second best car on the grid, and other drivers in worse cars managed to get a win on the boardin 2004 (Trulli, Kimi, JPM).

Speaking of Button, please locate your Caps Lock one.

Button has gained more experience, and "bar" 2004 has had a pretty naff car if we're honest. I think Jenson can win more if Honda can regain their 2004 form and iron out their reliability issues (much like McLaren)

Massa's been mistake prone up until lately and has shown he can win grand prix regularly providing his mistakes stay off the track and so long as Ferrari don't take his well deserved wins away just so Schumacher can notched up a couple more points here and there like they could've in Turkey. He's got plenty of potential and I think stands a better chance at becoming a World Champion with things as they are.

However, if I were to put these two in the same car, I'd probably still put my money on Button.

I think my money's on Button, he seems a really smooth driver and if and when he gets it altogether seems unstoppable. Saying that, Massa also seems a very good driver although he is in a really good car. The best thing about both of them is that the youngsters are starting to come through and win races, beating some of the old hands. Yes I know that Alonso is the young as well but that further illistrates my point.

Maybe it's time the older drivers retired and got out of the way!!! Some of them have already gone this year.

I'll go with Button, he seems like a very talented driver he's just had a lot of bad luck with the car not working too well. His average points per race I beleive is higher than Massa's as well.

I can't say really, they're both very good drivers in my opinion and they're both very experienced with their teams. Put them togheter in a team that's not Ferrari nor Honda and we'll see. :D

unless you put them in the same car you cannot compare them really , because there are to many variables to make a decision
