Normally when supercars have their rooves chopped off it kinda looks wierd but with this it makes it 10 times better!

I love how the roof folds away.....

I find it amazing that they made a 458 Spyder, which looks as good as the coupe version, is a hard top, and only increases in weight by 50kg.

Well, I wouldn't say quite as good. Do remember that the coupe has those gorgeous swaths of rolling metal that feed into the rear inlets:

Having said that though, this is probably one of the greatest coupe -> convertible chops ever. Bravo to them.

Well I'm glad that it has a proper folding metal roof unlike so many other supercar convertibles which give you some silly piece of cloth with tent poles. However its a pity you can no longer see the engine through a piece of glass.

It doesn't look as good as the coupé but again, not many cars on the street nowadays could compare to that either.

Depends on the car wash I suppose. Maybe they specialise in exotic cars. Wonder if they have any jobs going....

I have seen 2 in Lincoln (UK), one of which was a white one just coming off the A46 onto the A158. Looked great, much nicer than the default red. Pictures don't do the shape justice though.

Must keep my eyes peeled, the only "supercars" I see in Lincoln are Aston Martins, never once seen a Ferrari

I've seem the same red 458 on Doddington road a few times and yep, loads of Astons down there too. Loads of R8's and RS5's but then the do sell them at the dealer there so that doesn't count. Same Audi dealer had a blue 360 spider for a while.

Other than that there isn't too much about. Most of the nice cars are headed towards the coast and only pass though Lincoln.

Its a good looking convertible, but the roofline over the engine is part of what made the 458 such a beautiful design, the convertible sadly looses that.
