Linky! (More pics + description :))

599GTB doesn't look all that bad now with those rims... but I'd still take the F40 any given day. :D

Pure marketing genius.

It's like trying to valorize Jennifer Lopez with a picture of her besides Jessica Alba

...taken from behind.

The 599's style is weird....

is it just me or does it highly resembly the late Z8 in a big way?

and i'm sorry it MAY be ugly..but it still isn't as ugly as the scagg....

Aesthetics aside, they picked the wrong car for this anyways. The F40 was a mid-engined supercar meant for the track, while the 599GTB is a front-engined GT. They should have picked a 365 GTB or a 275 GTB instead.

Except that they're both Powerhouses of their time, and it's kind of stupid to set this 599 next to an Enzo because it will just make the 599 look like less of a car..

Setting the car with the newest "most powerful" engine from ferrari next to the Supercar of yesteryear is a great marketing idea, and i think it's nice pictures...Kinda shows us "then and now"...

We used to only be able to have either Speed..Or luxury...(F40 is proof of that)..Now we can have the cake and eat it too....

BTW I like the new Imola Red color

I'm not following you. Currently, the Enzo is Ferrari's powerhouse, as were the 288 GTO, F40 and F50 in their time. The 599GTB is their GT car, as were the Testarossa / 512TR in their time, as the the 550 / 575 Maranello it replaces.

Currently the Enzo isn't in production....Making this car the power house..

And Currently The Enzo is a "this generation ferrari" car...

If you think about it..sticking this next to the enzo would just be saying...

"hey, you CAN'T buy the one on the left, so why not settle for the one on the right"

Why they didn't put the trademark four round tailights on the back I'll never know. It looks just plain awkward now. F40 - Legend!

I'm not a Ferrari fan but I do really like the 599GTB looks. Yes it's more 'pointy' than most Ferraris, but it still looks great IMO.

The color is Rosso Monza, as I said earlier.

The first Ferraris had 2 taillights. While I agree that 4 taillights is a trademark now, 2 is a part of Ferrari's history. The car that this seems to resemble most, the 275GTB, also has two taillights.

The reason Ferrari put the 599 and the F40 in a photoshoot (this is actually a filming of a video) is to show how their technology has impressed. The 599 has performance that beats the F40's and has everything a driver could ask for- power windows, leather, carpet, power steering, radio, etc.

I see no relation to the Corvette. Nothing's really the same. I had to do this before with some other car, I can't remember what it was, on Ferrarichat. I put a picture of a C6 next to whatever it was. You have to realize that front-engined two-seaters can only get so different. They all have the same general shape because that's just how the engine and seats fit.
