Okay, since this is really old, I don't know whether to post this in the News section or the Cars In General section, any Mod help is appreciated :guilty:

Anyways, this is one of the most beautiful designs I've ever seen :drool:

From the side, from the back, weird taillights and all, I'm drooling. That's just beautiful...! From the front...it looks like some kind of dopey fish.

its like a cross between a 458 (headlights) TVR speed 12 (front bumper esque) bit a Ford GT (side view) and some form of American muscle car rear end..... very nice all the same!!

Wheels must have been stolen from the Murcielago LP-670 SV though.

This car was rendered then pasted in a GT5 promo shot from well before GT5 was released, yes it is R246 and the original picture is floating around somewhere.

Every so often this pic turns up where some one wonders where this car is in GT5 or they think found a leaked photo or something. Fake.

Lol I see people have already posted the cars I too thought it looks like. The 3 square scoops on the hood I think it can lose. Just looks placed there.

They are a throw back to the original GTO, as is pretty much the entire styling and indeed aim of the car.

I think this thing is incredible, it is a shame it will never be made. Next Photoshop project (when I get around to it) will now be to race livery this up since it hits all the racing car notes for me! The size of the front splitter :drool: But by far the greatest detailing are the tyres with the highlighted white text on them, love that on cars!
 
It looks very cool but it seems to resemble more a british coupe than an italian stallion, in my humble opinion.

F40 and F50 are different names...
Ferrari has already had the 612, they won't come out with a different car with the same name.

Ahh sorry I admit I was wrong. I forgot about the 612. Isn't that the car which is called the 599 in Japan (Gran Turismo)? I just saw the GTO and came to conclusions too quickly.
