Refueling has been banned in F1 just this 2010 season

so the fuel load has been and will be 170 kilograms / 230 liters and at the start of the race in combination of cold tyre's / brakes that makes it a challenge and more strategic race for the drivers (braking , cornering , accelerating , top speed affected by fuel load)

The fuel load is also exact for just 305-315 kilometers that is about 53 laps in Suzuka circuit and in the real Suzuka GP it is 53 laps which is also exact for the fuel load.

In GT5 however the fuel only lasts a lot less than 53 laps about only 25 if I remember but it was half of 53 for sure and its not the same fuel load and currently I do not think nor feel the fuel load is affecting the cars weight and its performance in any way.

If there are future plans for real fuel load amount/weight for the Ferrari F10 then it should have a fuel amount option because qualifying with 170 kg of fuel is not good and in real life they qualify with 5 laps worth of fuel.

If the fuel load amount/weight becomes implemented in the future
For qualifying the fuel load should only start with about 5 laps worth of fuel to maximize performance and then can go to the pit stop if more laps of qualifying is required or simply every car can have an option of how much fuel load they can load but obviously when the race starts they have full fuel load :)

Also for F1 regulations the speed limit in pit stops should be 200 kmh which is the real regulation not a pedestrian-going 80 kmh + the penalty on an F1 race should have a drive through pit stop penalty if not made within 10 laps of recieved penalty then 25 seconds of total time will be deducted at the end of the race to mention that is a real F1 rule as of 2010 and upwards.

Where did you get this 200kmh figure?

I can see why they banned refueling if there are cars zooming past at 200km/h.

Are you sure its the pit lane speed and not a pace car speed?

Also, why are you doing 25 laps at suzuka in a F10?

EDIT: From the 2011 rules - I doubt it changed that much in 1 year.

30.12 A speed limit of 60km/h will be imposed in the pit lane during all free practice sessions, this will be raised to
100km/h for the remainder of the Event. However, this limit may be amended by the stewards following a
recommendation from the FIA F1 safety delegate.

Keep in mind GT doesnt have a liscense for F1, thats why there were no F1 events, or any other F1 cars other than ferrari. I was slightly dissapointed that they didn't make WRC and Nascar into more fully fledged sectors in the game, but PD cant just biuld events and rules replicating F1 and call it their own.
Fuel load amount/weight, Although I believe should already be in the game is a possibility of being added on, But Replicating the rules to the F1 season and changing pit lanes speed for races, That again, aren't part of the events in the game since there is no real 'F1' in the game, are quite unlikely. They would have to find if all the cars were F1, and then somehow implement the rule.

Has anyone else noticed that the hard tyres still have the green band? I know it's only a green band, but it's still important to me.

Oh well, I don't race the F1's in this game like I do in F1 2010 (can't wait for F1 2011)

Adrian Newey should have designed a totally fictional car, which looks eerily similar, and handles easily similar to the RB6.

Ofcourse, his team would probably get a 10 place grid penalty for the next race.

It's been observed that all cars in GT5 use a 100 litre tank. That pretty much explains the shorter range, although I'm dubiously impressed by the accuracy of the fuel consumption there. :odd:

Whether all cars should use their actual fuel tank size is another matter, of course.
