Hi guys,

I finally managed to grind my way up to 11 million credits in the bank and notice that the Ferrari F1 challenge is still open in seasonal events...

Is it worth my while spending the 10 million credits for the F10 to take part in this seasonal event - what do you think?

I would only fritter away the money collecting a various assortment of cars in the UCD otherwise.

Thoughts very much appreciated - thank you :)

The FGT is more fun to drive... I'd rather spend the credits on a wide selection of cars personally.

its totally a self made decision.. do you race online? do you time trial alone?

main question is can you make the money back easilly :)

I like the F2007, but either car is extremely fun to drive, especially in the special events. The Ferrari F1's are more enjoyable than the FGT in my opinion. My favorite part is entering a corner a bit fast trying to overtake, and having the front inside tire lock up for a brief moment as you barely make the turn, pretty realistic looking...

Besides, the Ferrari F1 event ends in March, so if you're going to get one of the cars, do so now 👍

I didnt find the purchase to be worth it with the limited amount of events for it. YMMV.

I got the F10 from a level 24 ticket, it's fun but it's not worth it just for the seasonal race, you don't make that much back. It's also not worth 10 million unless you're collecting every car, so if there's other stuff you want I'd recommend spending it on something else. The Miura, for example, is a great car (in my opinion) (it's 15 million though).

I was given an F2007 for free and I don't think it was worth the money. You can't use it in any other A-Spec or B-Spec race. It's for the seasonals and arcade mode and that's it. That's not much of a return on investment.

It's the only car that I have been given because I couldn't justify plopping down 14 million for a car that only has one limited use just to see if it was worth it. It isn't. I put it online as a shared car so others can use it, because I won't be.

Thanks for the opinions folks - I am mainly collecting cars for the 'enjoyment' of driving them (variety being the spice of life) and I shall be collecting the premium models too though I have been concentrating on UCD ones first because the premium ones are available at anytime. My only consideration in this decision was the time limited seasonal event - I am guessing that there would not be many other opportunities to use the F1 car once the event has closed...

I have managed to grind the majority of that money through remote B-spec sharing/hosting over the last few weeks... would take a few weeks to recover that amount again I am sure (at the very least) as I don't have a whole lot of time available to grind a/b-spec offline.

So it's a double edged sword - spend that money now, enjoy a single seasonal event and miss out on the UCD cars that pop up in the next couple of weeks... or forget about the seasonal event and collect that car at a later date.

So I guess the real question is not if the F1 car is worth the money, but is the Ferrari seasonal event worth taking part in?

Personally I really enjoy the Ferrari F1 cars. The FGT is a great car but to me it feels a little overpowered. If you are only getting it for the seasonal though I don't think I would recommend it. I time trial the car a lot and really enjoy it, that is the only reason I got it. I didn't want it to make money (although that was a nice bonus) I wanted it just to drive on some of the GP tracks.

Finish A-Spec Extreme and/or B-Spec Extreme and you'll get a lvl 24 ticket which will give you a Ferrari Formula or if your luck is bad, another FGT. Then you won't lose a dime on a Ferrari Formula and you can take part in that nice Ferrari Formula seasonal event. The only problem is the A-Spec FGT race is essentially an Endurance race while all B-Spec Extreme races are also extremely long.

Nope. Endurance, not Extreme. It's right here.

the F2007 feels more like a custom knit glove.. iits definitely more fun to drive and does not mind being pushed WAY hard.. (like i could gas it hard midcorner and catch the tail pretty easy.. whereas the same manuver in the F10 got me a spin) yet the F10 in my experience is faster.. the F10 i was traded had a chassis reinforcer on it though but i doubt that affected anything

Personally I would borrow the Ferrari from a friend...I am pretty sure you will regret not having the money when a really rare car appears (and knowing murphy's law I am sure a really rare beauty will appear when you are penniless)

grrlpurple. I have the F10 on share right now and I will put the F2007 on share if you'd like to drive it.

I personally think all three formula cars are worth owning. The FGT is worth it for the sheer speed and amount of control it takes to tame it. The F2007 and F10 are both very similar, but something about the F10 makes it a more enjoyable experience for me. I can't put my finger on it, but it just feels a little smoother than the F2007.

If you mean worth it by the experience, then yes.

If by the amount of money you'll earn back driving it, then no.

Hey, sweetheart. Not to mention that getting any X2010 car (at least as a prize for reaching 35 B-spec) will also look great with the F2007, F10, and even the FGT. The way I would see it, should I have all four of these Formula cars in my garage, I pretty much have the game beat even if it didn't seem right. :)

please take note that you can only use Ferrari F1's in practice mode and one make race...
& the Ferrari Seaonal Evenst right now. That was the saving grace for me to not feeling totally gutted after purchasing the F2007 after grinding forever for it, PD did something right. I traded for my F10.

So the financial reward for the seasonal event is pitiful for having to buy a 10 million credit car - but is the actual racing experience of it worth while?

Is there any challenge to the race or are the AI drivers just as easy to beat as they are in every other race?

F2007 may race better but seen as there arent really any races and i prefer how the F10 looks, i went fot that coz it may aswell look good as it sits in my garage doing nothing :p

If you don't have the x2010 yet, it's not worth it if your looking at collecting and driving different cars. Unfortunately grinding credits is a game feature, and if you have things in your life like family friends and a job, the x2010 and a couple rubberbands can grind for you, so you can buy whatever you fancy.

AI to a degree is challenging, but only because it may take you awhile to figure out the car, otherwise the races are just worth a ton of credits (in relative terms) to other races.
