I've been Time Trialing the Ferrari F2007 at Suzuka in the latest online competition. The lap record is 1:28.5.My best time? 1:33.2.Way off the pace. I downloaded the 10th fastest ghost replay to see where I could improve.I soon realised that any improvement I could make would be mere fractions of a second at best.My F2007 is no match for the machine in the ghost replay. I'm not sure why.My F2007's engine will cut out on the slightest bump,if I try the same lines as the ghost/Racing Line I will touch a kerb and my engine cuts out,I have to search for a gear and blip the throttle to regain rev's.The throttle also sticks open.I may be braking with my foot off the accelerator, but the throttle is still open.I do not understand why my car does not brake accelerate or turn as well as the ghost car.All the other car's I have do not have this engine cut out problem. It is a frustrating situation.Any help greatly appreciated. Thank You Finalmind

I think you're talking about time trials, so there is no quick tune. For some reason the the throttle does stick open a little bit. It's the same for everyone.
Just keep practicing. My best lap in this time trial is 1'29.690. That took me about 5 hours to get.

I didn't think of that. Driving aids do slow you down a lot.

Turn off TCS and put ABS to about 1, turn off ASM and active steering and try again. Should shave off a few seconds.

Most of the top 10 racers on with the F2007 (on any track) practice a crapload. There are certain things you can do different with the F2007 than with other cars, and I've watched areas where the F2007 can go full throttle, yet when I drive, the car doesn't behave the same. One of these areas is the 2nd turn on Eiger Reverse. If you hit the apex of turn 1 and then try to hit the 2nd, you need to be very precise in order to keep on the track. These people have mastered what point to hit and how much you can give it. If you look at the throttle, they only seem to go to 60% for about .2 seconds before they're back on full. It just takes time.
