Ferrari F2007 transmission problem!

Hi all, I just earned my F1 car yesterday. When I raced on the Daytona track in arcade mode, the transmission wouldn't allow the car to go over 177 MPH, with manual transmission (7th gear).

I did the Suzuka time trails online with auto transmission, and the car worked great. Went back to the Arcade Daytona track with auto trans, and the F1 still wouldn't go over 177 MPH.

Anyone else have this problem? or suggestions

You need to tune the gearbox to allow a higher speed. Look for "Quick Tune Setup" in the menu before you race (along with "Start" "Replay" etc). In there you can tune many aspects of the car.
As for how to tune the gears, thats for you to work out. There are guides posted on this forum in the tuning section and setups if you can't be bothered learning.

Thanks GT, I'm going to restart the game, I didn't know the final gear was for the auto trans, I did play with it (set) it back to default settings, and is working better.

I did get my tune settings from a thread within this board, and that didn't bother me at all, Arduis!

I'm abosolutly amazed by some peoples attitued to berate people on this board. why would you assume someone that has attaind a F1 Ferrai can't be bothered with searching these boards, or for that matter haven't read any of the threads before posting? Pretty sad!

Trust me, people do ask without looking. No need to be so touchy about it, I was only trying to help - I don't see where in your original post you made it so clear you had tried tuning or even knew about it.
Guess gratitude isn't an easy thing on the internet, eh?

After the rest of your post i dont know if you thought i want to kid you, but i was serious. A lot of people experience some strange bugs and start asking about it before they actually got out of the game and restarted it. This is the first thing you should do, if it happens again then you can start a new thread. And how could ive known that you already did it?

You cant imagine how many people for example just dowloaded a savegame and have no idea how QT works...
 
How do you shift gears using the pedals on the G25? Does anyone know? I can only reach 6th gear with the stick haha.

I guess the paddles or change the H shifter to sequential... 👍
