The Ferrari F40 is a legendary car, most well known for being the first ever production road car to top 200MPH, but a Ferrari F40 was also entered by Team Taisan for the 1994 season of the Japanese Grand Touring Championship (JGTC) in the GT1 Class. It only won 1 race but still finish very highly in the season, with a 3rd place finish at Fuji, Sendai and in the Special GT Cup. It won the final race at Mine Circuit and DNF'd at Sugo due to clutch problems after 11 laps. It finished 4th in the GT1 Class for the championship.
