I stumbled upon this while reducing weight and power, but it's a futile exercise with those figures above.

So, what do you guys reckon? Is it a bug, or is there a logical explanation why it would be deliberate?

Id say bug, but it may be that because of the less power the car handles better and less throttle control is needed so its faster. Its probably a bug but that could work lol.

I did some research, and found that the F40 should weigh 1100 Kgs.
In GT5P the minimum weight attainable is 1149 Kgs.
Then again the F49 makes 478 bhp.
In GT5P the maximum attainable power is 514 bhp.

Not related to the OP, but interesting anyway. I always thought the F40 felt heavier than it ought to.

Edit: Just noticed I've become a "Senior Member". It's my birthday tomorrow - rub it in why don't you.

Why can't PD get the weight of a car right, it's not that hard?
In GT4 the Focus RS weighed much less than it ought to of have.

You realise that "senior member" has nothing to do with your age and everything to do with post count right? I assume you were just cracking a funny.:sly:

Yes - just a funny. It's just an ironic coincidence because I do feel quite senior today :ill:.

Back to the weight thing - I don't know if the quoted 1100Kgs is dry weight, so fuelled and oiled up etc., maybe 1149Kgs would be closer to "real world weight" ?

I never got this... normal weight is 1100kg but at 0 in quicktune its 1350, why???? all the other cars are right, why should it increase....

Its cant be with fuel and driver because all the others start at 0 with normal empty stock weight...
