Ferrari F430 Bug

Has anyone here notice the driver inside the Ferrari F430 shifting gears like it had a normal H pattern gearbox?

The car has a paddle shifters but the driver is shifting like it has H pattern shifter. Might as well let PD know about this so that this could be fixed. :)

I don't want to be a GTP Mod (no way!!) however, nobody likes post bringing old-ass info as if it's new.

When you think you found something, or spotted something before all else, chances are you haven't, & somebody else here already found it, so search first, post second. It's only too bad that this need be repeated so many times by so many people before people catch on.
 
The thing is if the news is old news and no one posts because it is old news then the thread will get lost in a matter of minutes on GTP. So if we get a bunch of people saying search first and it keeps going than we have a thread that is nothing but people posting that they should have searched.

Don't get me wrong the search function is there for a reason (hell it's in my sig) but with statements like this

than we would never find out anything new. Truth is I never noticed and never had a reason to search so this is news to me. If I haven't seen the thread I wouldn't have known, since I have only driven this car once.

I too was unaware of this. I also never would have known because I had no reason to search for "f430 h pattern shifting animation bug when it should be paddles"...I personally am glad that the OP posted this information. I did not know before and had very little chance of finding out, and I do know now...

You little twits that want to jump in and carry on with your little napoleon complexes really do need to be shot, drawn, quartered, gathered back together and put back under your rocks! Or atleast just back off a bit. You make this forum such a hostile place at times.

New News to you is not new to anyone else. There is no issue with starting a new thread if you find none on the topic. Otherwise just post in the thread already talking about it because if you don't all your "new news to you" threads will just become threads about learning to use the search function. Its not hard and we will still learn new things without waisting time on things members should learn to do.

To be honest, I did know this, then forgot as I haven't seen it in the forum for a long long time... It's nice to learn something new (although technically re-learnt) from time to time, stop being such drama queens and go use your special search button you keep bumping this apparent "useless thread" about. I for one would never of searched for this, as I don't and probably won't for a long time, use the F430.

Don't go being hostile to the new guys, not going to make them very happy here is it ? PM would of been far more professional. The thread would of also died very quickly if you did, instead you bumped it, well done.

Okay then since you can't just learn a lesson and move on.

Read the agreement you accepted when becoming a member it specifically addresses this issue. Had you read the rules you wouldn't be waisting time arguing your right to break the rules.

Is it so hard to do a search & bump the thread already talking about it? That will bring the thread back to the top and it will stay there if people are interested.

Stop arguing over stupidity, follow the rules and people wouldn't have to remind you to. It's as simple as that.
 
I repeat... PM'ing the new guy would of been far better, it would of NOT bumped the thread and still got the point across, it is childish to have loads of people posting "use search" or rather basically trolling the thread with "use the search" stuck in the hate somewhere.

It is childish and unfair to dish out this kind of hate on someone with a 5 post count, be fair, a PM would of done fine. All your 'one-upmanship' will accomplish is less members on GTPlanet.

I think that this glitch applies to other cars too like the Citroen GT Race car.
Take a picture and you'll see.

It's nothing major though so I don't think that PD will fix it any time soon.

Well honestly I drove the 430 for months in a race series and never even noticed this, and wouldn't have searched for it because I didn't know 430s were paddle-shift.

Sometimes repeat threads help.
