It's my favourite car and I just bought it today, yet I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm currently doing the A Class Events, yet the only one I can finish is the Daytona Speedway.

This car is pretty beastly, but I seem to have a hard time controlling it. Looking around at some of the messages on this forum, it seems to me as if the Ferrari F430 isn't too hard to control. Am I just a gigantic n00b at this game? I mean, keep in mind I just got it Tuesday, but still.

I guess what I'm saying is any tips for driving i? I use a G25 with Simulation settings.
 
Don't give up and keep practicing. Having a wheel/pedals should help. I am guessing that you problem would be accelerating out of corners, for that you just need to be careful when you apply the throttle and how much. If its something else let us know.

You could try driving the Ford GT for a little while and then go back and the F430 will seem easy to control.

Definitely true, lol. I had the same problem for a while on the single player. Then once I went online and got some good tunes for it, I had no problems at all once I went back to the single player. After using the car so much online you will get much better with it. Just go easy on the throttle through turns. Once you have used it online you can go back to the single player which I'm assuming is where your having your problems with controlling the car, since your not able to tune it. If your just struggling with it online then just do a search for a good tune for it and you shouldn't have many problems.
 
I know exactly how you feel, I cant get Gold on A class with the 430 challenge that you start from 16th place. I love the car, but I always break to late or keep skidding and losing speed. Weird but when I completely took of traction control, I got at least second place.
 
I find it extremely hard to get a fast setup on the F430 where the car doesn't seem extremely light in the middle, so it doesn't necessarily spin out, but it loses traction on all 4 wheels at very inopportune moments.

Drive as agressive as you can, but as if you had an egg under your accelerator foot.
